Biography
Once a bright-eyed hopeful child from an unremarkable town of cave Goblins, Paya had an incredible natural ability to understand not only her own aspect, but was able to teach herself a second one at a very young age. For years until they left the safety of their hometown, they honed their skill with Fire and Wind to become a formidable supporting role to those in need. From this, they had been quite driven to study within the Adventurers' Guild's walls, dreaming to become an accomplished supporting role for Wayfarers' and helping those in need.
Around the year of 1212 when Paya was the age of 16, Paya set off towards Eversun City alone to begin their long and successful future as an accomplished, well-renowned mender for adventurers. They quickly joined in the Education Division Academy, eagerly focusing on their studies.
Only a year after beginning the course, Paya dropped out of the Academy with the lowest documented scores on record. As it turned out, their gift for aspects did not translate into any kind of aptitude for academic study and as a result, grew resentful and bitter towards the guild as a whole. An organisation that promoted acceptance and self-growth left one of their own behind. One that (from Paya's perspective, at least) felt as though they were being pitied for not reaching the same benchmarks as others. Their family heard of their failure, and eventually communications between the Goblin and their family ceased.
That bright light once driving them formed into a quite burn within them, a bitter drive to help others turned away by those looking down on them - on those not like "everyone else". For several years after, Paya took on odd-jobs from guild-unaffiliated mercenary boards to make ends meet.
Several years passed, taking quests in an aimless spiteful haze. It wasn't until the year 1222 that one quest gave Paya a chance meeting with a curious individual - though recently they have started to believe it was something more than "fate".
Contributions
Record-breaking lowest test scores in the Education Division Academy.
Abilities
Using their Fire and Wind aspects, Paya excels in support roles as a healer. Although they can harm as much as they heal, their focus is on healing. To heal, Paya needs to be able to physically be able to see their allies so if that line is disrupted, they cannot heal. Additionally, their damage isn't strong enough to protect themselves solely, so they rely on others to be able to support and have others handle other tasks.
Fire: Radiance
Heals an individual, though when used after Solace, this heal splits onto multiple targets.
Fire: Solace
Strikes an enemy with quick bolt of fire. Allows Radiance to heal multiple allies.
Fire + Wind: Divine Star
Paya focuses a small ball of Fire into her hands, and projects it forward with Wind. When striking allies, it would heal their wounds. When striking enemies, it leaves harmful burns along where it brushes against them.
Wind: Fleet-Foot
Focuses Wind into a small area that gives allies a movement boost when walked through for about ten seconds.
