Lucia Nayuri is a Tempered woman who works in the Creative Commons Division's hub specifically in the Theater District. She is a very popular dancer and singer.
Appearance
A woman of reddish complexion and covered in crimson scales, Lucia is a Tempered with a brighter smile than some may imagine a Tempered can adorn. Her peach-colored hair fades into a darker gradient at the tips, with a medium-sized set of red horns and two other smaller sets beneath them. She often wears half of her hair up in a small ponytail. Her eyes are a bright lavender with her sclera colored in a lighter lilac. Her hands and feet are fully scaled just like her tail. She has spikes on the tip of her toes and her heels, as well as the tip of her tail.
Her typical performer attire consists of a golden tiara with blue and white roses at the base on either side of her head. A circlet of golden chains hangs from the tiara, with blue sapphires connected to these chains. Golden bands decorate her neck, arms, index fingers, and ankles. She wears very airy and light fabric wrapped around her chest and hips, and her sleeves are semi-transparent. The large blue sapphire adorning her chest nestled within a golden embellishment is actually used as her elemental focus, emitting a soft glow when channeling her magic.
Personality
A very bubbly woman who loves attention. She's actually quite sweet on the outside, but if she's comfortable with a person, she will pick at and tease them out of love. Some may call her adorable, some may call her a gremlin. But Lucy is Lucy, and sometimes, one just has to accept that.
On stage, she is highly confident and plays into the role of performing character. She is there to enchant the audience, and often times gets the audience involved directly by taking them by the hands or looking at them in the eye. Otherwise, her focus is intense and nothing can ever break her from her dance.
Biography
Born in a Tempered village nestled within the base of a volcano, Lucia's parents moved to Eversun City about 10 years into her life. The Nayuri family comes from a long line of armor and accessory smithies, and growing up, she was highly involved in particularly goldsmithing with her mother. She picked up goldsmithing with ease, crafting small accessories like earrings and necklaces, from as early as age 12. Confident, she would uptake the mantle and continue the Nayuri family legacy as Tempered smithies newfound in Eversun, she continued her apprenticeship under her parents.
That is, until Lucia witnessed her first theater performance at the Reines Amphitheater.
The dance troupe which lit up the evening sky with their magics stole her breath away, and beginning from age 15, she took dance classes every single day in the Theater District. Her dream is to step up onto the stage of the Reines Amphitheater on her own, carried by her hard work alone, and put on an audience-grasping performance even better than the one she saw when she was a child.
At age 18, Lucia applied to the Adventurers' Guild when she realized she could become a licensed performer and entertainer while providing for her family in some other way. She still carries a high passion for geology and goldsmithing as a hobby on the side, but for now, she dedicates every hour of her life improving herself, enchanting the people around her, and bringing smiles wherever she goes as she works to step foot in the Amphitheater.
Abilities
Illuminated Reverie
A spell unique to Lucia, she is able to combine her fire and water aether to reflect light into water during her dances and present imagery through the spell. These images come in the form of backdrops, visual particle effects, characters, scenery, and everything in between. The illusions are not incredibly detailed, as the rippling water effects can still distort the image, but the small particle effects do appear very real.
