Theater District

The Theater District is a large district located in the southwestern area of Eversun City. It is the main venue to host festivals for the holidays.

Overview

The Theater District is where art and creativity are born, raised, and revered. These subjects are highly praised in Eversun City, and without them, it wouldn't be as lively as it is today. While walking throughout the Theater District, it's impossible to get some peace and quiet. Street performers, musicians, and artists all settle down on the various stages and open areas littering the Theater District and show off their skills to the passersby looking for some liveliness in their daily lives.

The Creative Commons Division actually has a small hub located in the middle of the district, as a lot of their employees find themselves in the Theater District more often than the Hearth.

Line Street

The longest continuous street in Eversun City, Line Street is home to Guild-organized holiday festivals, roadside shops, and mini-theaters. One of the most notable features of Line Street is the material used to construct the roads: colorful stones are arranged in a mosaic, stained-glass pattern and encased in a resin to make its surface smooth. The resin is clear, and at night, dedicated mages enchant the resin with arcane energy. This makes it so upon pressure, such as a person's footsteps, the resin emits a soft white glow.

No transportation carriages are allowed on Line Street. It is purely reserved for foot traffic.

The Reines Amphitheater

Named after the influential and historic figure Juliette Reines, the Reines Amphitheater sits at the very northern end of Line Street. It is the largest open-air theater in Castrella. The amphitheater is maintained by the Civil Affairs Division and Creative Commons Division in tandem, and it is available to rent by any theater troupe willing to dish out the cash to have their performance live for all eyes to see.
