Emil is a Tempered infected with the Vampirus Parasite. Born and raised in the Church of the Ember Serpent, Emil's faith has long been crushed but he sticks around for the sake of his fellow members. He's a member of the Contingency Division's Housekeeping staff.
Appearance
Emil is an above average male with tanned skin and vitiligo. Due to his The Tempered genes, he had a set of horns, 3 toed clawed feet and a long large spiney tail tipped with crimson. He has long orange hair with strands of red. He keeps his hair in a ponytail, with the shorter strands resting at neck length. He has grey eyes and his face is always stained with his bloody tear marks.
Emil dresses in an outfit similar to that of a priest, albeit stylised. The inner shirt is a long sleeved grey shirt with a cutout of an upside down cross in the middle paired together with a corset fashioned with bat wings. On top of that he wears a capelet that has dark blue gradient that fade to dark grey. His lower half is a half long coat, the left side being shorter while the right side is longer with bat wing motifs sewn into it. He wears dark grey pants, the left pant leg hanving a large cut off akin to that of a star. He wears a pair of tall button down boots wrapped in belts, the tip are exposed for him to freely move his clawed toes. Accessories wise, he wears his guild armband as a badge attached to his capelet, a bracelot on his right hand, a pair of gloves, a pull chain necklace with a red gem, a silver belt that hugs his hips where he can also attach his whip and a belt on his tail.
Personality
He used to be someone who was passionate to be helpful to people around him, some would even call him naive as he never questioned anything growing up. He was someone people could lean on in times of need because he always saw it as his duty. However, an event in his life turned him sour, often irritable, you could read his thoughts just from his facial expressions alone. He stopped being a pillar for others as he was truly not in the right mind to be. Though he often complains, he does his work with great diligence and professionalism. It's not to say he's hateful, he's just lost, trying to navigate how to better express himself, is it how he feels or is it how everyone wants him to feel. He’s going through it.
Biography
Current homemaker of the Church of the Ember Serpent. Emil was born and raised within the church. Growing up, he followed his parents and superior’s steps without question. He thought he knew no better, always keeping his opinions to himself, believing it tested his faith and his loyalty to his family.
As he grew older, he was seen by those around him as reliable, always there to volunteer with events, cleaning the church and just listening to his fellow members. Willing to gamble on his life to be turned into a vampire. If he turned it was proof he stayed diligent to his faith, if not he would have the grace to join the Ember Serpent in the afterlife. That was of course, before he found out everything was a lie created by their head. This shattered his world view, and sent him down a spiral of doubt and purpose. A thought did cross his mind to kill their leader in a fit of deliria, but what good would that come to other than a brief moment of satisfaction (he has tried though). He never told his fellow church members the facade of their belief, for they were the only family he had and he didn’t want to send them into an identity crisis like he did.
In the present day, he is still on bad terms with their leader, often hitting him when they come too close to each other. But he did not want to spend the rest of his remaining life sitting ideal, joining the guild to find another purpose as well as fund his insatiable hunger. But living most of his life without learning many skills, he joined the Contingency Division under their housekeeping staff as cleaning was the only skill he was confident in. He had considered studying for a period of time to become a therapist but with the way he currently was, he would be of no good. He still goes home to the church, even if he has to deal with two headaches of people who love to poke at him.

Thanks to his aether atunement to fire, Emil is able to channel it to warm up his internal system as well as his skin.

Emil can squirt blood from his eyes as a form of blinding threats but this negatively affects his health.

- Even his tears are his blood, it’s a pain to clean which is why he tried his best not to cry all the time.
- Has a dust mite allergy
- A glutton, he can consume his body weight in food a day. All the fat goes to his tail
- His necklace was gifted to him (begrudgingly) by a fellow church member. If asked the significance behind it, he will refuse to answer.
- Has a marble collection
- Often times when he's working he hooks his tail on his belt so it doesn't get in the way.
- For morning shifts, he needs a lot of coffee to even keep himself awake. That virus ain’t gonna slow him down.
- He makes a weekly trip to the market district just to eat. He’s a regular at almost every food vendor.
