Astrophel Argentum is a Lesser Kindred originally from Tírr who works as a field doctor at the Contingency Division. A reliable man with a reserved nature, often told "he doesn't look like a doctor" due to his intimidating personality and looks. Much to his chagrin.

Astrophel is a pretty intimidating figure, standing at 6'11" with broad shoulders and muscular build, not helped by the perpetual furrow to his brow and a scowl that always shows his lower fangs due to underbite. Has hawk shaped nose and heterochromia, right eye is hazel and left is green.
His dark skin is littered with scars big and small, both from his childhood and his time on the field. Tiny moles can be found in various places. Has long white hair with black tips that reaches around his ribs. As a snow leopard Kindred, Phel has some animal traits such as round fluffy black ears with a white spot, a particularly long grey fluffly tail with black spots, sharp claws he paints black and facial markings around his eyes.
Closet consists mostly of clothes appropriated for cold weather, if not wearing his work clothes you'll mostly see him wearing sweaters, button up shirts, jackets, boots and furs in some way. Generally in neutral tones with few splashes of color.
While not really vain, Astrophel takes care of his apperance, specially his hair and fur. Often changes hairstyles but always has braids in some way. Likes to use silver jewelry, has many piercings on his ears and a nose bridge one.

Glacial Heart
Phel’s ice aspect, for some reason, makes his body temperature very cold. It has no impact on his health or anything just makes him a walking ice cube. For the longest time he wasn’t aware this was a thing and thought he was just particularly sensitive to the cold weather of Tírr, since leaving for Eversun he discovered that isn’t the case.
Frigid Touch
The main way he uses his aspect, to heal. Upon touching his patients wounds a layer of frost will cover the area to heal them, depending on how deep or serious the wounds are this layer of frost will vary in thickness. Despite its great effectiveness, patients are left with some level of discomfort due to the cold temperature so Astrophel takes great care not to leave his patients feeling terrible. He used not to have as much control over it when he was young and could easily cause frostbite.
Boreal Barrier
If not able to put himself between danger and whoever he’s trying to protect in time Astrophel can use his aspect to create a shield in front of someone. It isn’t as strong as his shield but it works in a pinch. As the name suggests it looks a bit aurora borealis.
Glacial Claw
As a last resort, if Astrophel doesn’t have backup, his shield or can’t fight whatever is attacking him with his fists, he can create small daggers made of ice. They are very primitive in shape, looking more like icicles. This is a technique he made as a child and never refined so he’s likely to overexert himself and, worst case scenario, hurt his hands. Only one can exist at a time.

"Icebreaker"
Astrophel's weapon of choice, a shield. It's a custom piece made of moonlight silver gifted to him by his parents when he finished his studies, very big and heavy with ice, stars and moon motifs. It’s a constant reminder to what he achieves to be – a shield ready to protect and help those in need. It's around 4'2" in height (idk about weight man). Yes, he also bashes people with it.
Thermal Pouch
Since healing can leave his patients cold Phel carries around this pouch with warm drinks and simple snacks to give them just a little bit of comfort and replenish their strenght. It's likely filled with coffee, tea or different types of soup.
"Marshmallow"
A unicorn plushie giften to him by his parents, his first real gift and the first plushie of his collection. The thing is big and surprisingly soft despite it's years. It has a place of honor on his bed and brings him great comfort, specially when he missed his parents.

- Can get very protective of his patients, if he thinks you’re enough of a threat he will start yowling and baring his teeth. Friend or foe.
- Gravitates towards warmth when sleeping, will snuggle anyone close enough. Holds his tail in his sleep.
- Not a morning person. Has to have around 3 mugs of coffee before he's fully awake.
- Has a big spicy food tolerance.
- Has a plushie collection. First one was a big unicorn plushie given to him by his parents. (thank you assbread for the suggestion ♡).
- Takes good care of his hair and fur, tail is the softest thing you’ve ever seen (you may touch only once).
