Phoenix Festival 1230
Prior to the Phoenix Festival, Hyalt commissioned a special outfit for the occasion from Dez.
Hyalt spent most evenings during the festival with her partners, Lucia and Peri. She is occasionally only with one or the other, depending on their availability, but she never appeared at the festival alone. During the event, she purchased countless cups of boba from Nali-babi’s Boba Corner. Hyalt also stopped by Nyx’s booth at the festival, beating her in an arm wrestle and getting a small phoenyx for her troubles. It was at this event that Hyalt discovered Nyx was pretending to be left-handed to look cooler.
Hyalt ran a shooting gallery for the children of the Valhalla Project during the mini-fest that ran midway through the month. She crashed overnight at the Morning Roost during this period.
She also assisted Tia with her annual feast, aiding in hunting a great magical boar. She dragged Korin into helping with this event as well.
Hyalt assisted with the subjugation of Loco Motion and Lil Red, lending her hunting skills to aid in the duo’s capture.
The Stageplay of Frights
As Hyalt picks up her flyer, she examines it carefully. Indeed, this was a moment of triumph for her. She smiles. And then notices the folded corner. There’s something else stuck to this. Another poster. This one is aged. Different. It’s not a face from their party, which means it must be that of someone who has faced this dungeon on a prior instance. A face Hyalt knows well. How it appeared here and now is anyone’s guess, but that hardly matters to her right now.
“Hello mother. I’ll see you soon, okay?”
Hyalt was one of the first to volunteer for a pitfall level dungeon which appeared in Alula during their annual Whisperween celebrations in 1230. She requests Jaina to tag along for this adventure. While inside, she finds a ticket into the theatre with Jaina and explores the Hall of Comedy with Mauriell and Meridian, helping them overcome the challenges found within. After defeating the dungeon boss with the full party, Hyalt finds, attached to a flyer of her defeating the hourglass boss in the Hall of Comedy, a flyer depicting her mother exploring the dungeon by herself, wrapped in a white cloak. This spurs her to research the dungeon and it's prior instances when she returns to the Hearth.
Hyalt also obtains 500g and mythril chainmail which she wears under her clothing during future quests.
