Winona sought to participate in the celebrations just to have a good time. But that didn't seem to last long once Mirage unleashed a surprise attack at the Guild. She quickly got to work, assisting with Bellona in tracking down any members of the opposition, as well as picking up people affected by the misuse of Null Powder on behalf of Mirage. While glad to have survived the whole encounter, Winona still has some slight contempt for the Guild's administration, she holds some resentment for those who had to go through all the trouble. Even more so for Serafina, who was just about to graduate at the time of the events happening, but was roped into the situation against her better judgement.

While she understands his reasons to go the way he is now, Winona also feels James was being misled by Mirage at the moment.
