Nivian is a caracal Lesser Kindred who lives in Eversun City under the care of the Valhalla Project orphanage. She is currently enrolled in her first year at the Education Division Academy without a division in mind.
Appearance
A small caracal Lesser Kindred with long dusty brown hair fashioned into low twintails with blue hairbands and blue hairclips in her front bangs, large caracal ears with tufts of fur, and a long brown tail. Her eyes are a sapphire blue and almost look teary most of the time. There are freckles scattered on her face. Her main apparel leans to shades of blue and white. She enjoys wearing heavier sweaters with knee-length skirts. There's a blue anklet with silver bells on her body whenever she is present in the Valhalla Project area.
Personality
A very quiet and calculating soul. Nivian's primary demeanor leans towards timid and silent, with a fear of speaking up. However, this is not particularly the case, as she uses this trait of hers to her advantage. She's able to see through a lot of ruses and fake personalities when she's allowed to focus, and can typically use her gentle voice to sway others one direction or the other. She has a penchant for wanting to see results of the unknown with her own two eyes, which leads her to convince others to do things for her that may not be entirely smart. While her voice is almost always drowned out by others, she tends to latch onto anyone who is willing to listen to her fully and understand her.
Biography
A small caracal Lesser Kindred born in the deserts of Vyper to a mercantile family. Said family held a large number of members, all with separate caravans to travel across the surface of Castrella and sell their (sort of suspicious) relics and wares. Nivian was dragged along on these caravans since she her infant years, and never particularly enjoyed this lifestyle. Her family raised her with the mindset that their little Nivian would join them in their journeys and endeavors as her own merchant, and harshly trained her on formalities and conniving schemes to reel in customers with shady business deals.
At the age of ten, Nivian's family set up their merchant caravan in a small village in Ha'zaar for a week. This is where she encountered Pendra, her now-lifelong platonic partner. Since Pendra is easily swayed by others' words, Nivian demanded she pay reparations by going out on a treasure hunt with her outside the village. Not knowing the dangers in this, Pendra blindly accepted, and Nivian and Pendra set out beyond the village borders to search for valuables for Nivian to bring to her parents. They wandered for quite a while, sneaking past guards on every corner, and suddenly... they were lost.
Far, far gone from the village.
Their luck with encountering monsters and dangers wore out very quickly. When threatened with an ambush from a hungry monster, the two were saved by a traveling Kindred, Korin Altair. After being interrogated about their origins and family, Nivian chose not to elaborate on these questions for the both of them. Korin then carried them back to Eversun City and submitted them to the Valhalla Project orphanage under his care.
Nivian has been at the orphanage for eight years now. A little late into age eighteen, she enrolled into the Education Division Academy to carve a path for herself, away from her family's intentions for her.

- Despite not having much formal training, she's a very talented healer.
- Nivian's voice is unable to surpass a specific volume. It is unknown why, so a lot of her words end up as faintly above a whisper.
- While she is very manipulative, it's not with ill intentions.
- Has a fear of growing up despite attempting to be the voice of reason to the children of the Valhalla Project orphanage to not fear the process of aging.
