Pendra is an Earth Dragon who lives in Eversun City under the care of the Valhalla Project orphanage. She is currently enrolled in her first year at the Education Division Academy without a division in mind.
Appearance
A taller girl with a natural brown palette due to being an earth dragon. Her hair is brown, long, and straight, with some chunks of pure white. Her ears are pointed like an Elvaari's, and her skin tone is on the warmer side. The dragon traits she carries are two pairs of horns (the top set are very tiny), scales all over her body, a pair of tiny wings on her lower back, and a long pointed tail. Her eyes are bicolored, with with her left eye colored a pale red and her right eye colored a pale blue. The typical attire she aims to wear naturally has a sporty look, as she's always active and ready to run around and break a sweat. A notable part of Pendra's accessories is a blue anklet with silver bells along the outside, only required for her to wear when walking around the Valhalla Project.
Personality
A go-getter loudmouth who doesn't understand the nuances of social cues. Pendra is peppy, cheery, and usually nothing can bring her down. She's ready to make friends at a moment's notice, often asking personal questions right away to understand her potential new companion better. She's easily swayed by others' words and is under the impression no one would lie to her, which can often get her in trouble. A very, very naïve soul that needs a bit of tempering to ensure she isn't taken advantage of. However, once you befriend this little dragon, you have a friend for life, and someone who is ready to throw herself into danger to ensure your safety.
Biography
A dragon that was born on the surface of Castrella, in a village in Ha'zaar south of Eversun City. Her parents, two young earth dragons, took care of her very well and often let her roam around the small village unsupervised due to how heavily guarded and safe the area was. The village consisted mostly of earth Tempered, and so she adopted a lot of mentalities and ideas from them growing up. Strength is sturdiness, sturdiness is infallible, and to be infallible means to protect the ones you love. Pendra has clutched onto these words to this very day.
At the age of ten, Pendra got caught attempting to swipe some valuables from a traveling caravan that set up shop in her village for a week. This is where she encountered Nivian, her now-lifelong platonic partner. Since Pendra is easily swayed by others' words, Nivian demanded she pay reparations by going out on a treasure hunt with her outside the village. Not knowing the dangers in this, Pendra blindly accepted, and Nivian and Pendra set out beyond the village borders to search for valuables for Nivian to bring to her parents. They wandered for quite a while, sneaking past guards on every corner, and suddenly... they were lost.
Far, far gone from the village.
Their luck with encountering monsters and dangers wore out very quickly. When threatened with an ambush from a hungry monster, the two were saved by a traveling Kindred, Korin Altair. After being interrogated about their origins and family, Nivian chose not to elaborate on these questions for the both of them. Korin then carried them back to Eversun City and submitted them to the Valhalla Project orphanage under his care.
Pendra has been at the orphanage for eight years now. A little late into age eighteen, she enrolled into the Education Division Academy to strengthen her body and her resolve to protect the people she loves.
