Appearance
A tall multilegged figure who always wears a strange mask. They have no problems with their appearance without the mask, but they just think it is comfortable.
Personality
Lathyrus has always found their self obsessed with poisons, to an extent that would make others uncomfortable. They would never wish harm on others, nor do they take pleasure in seeing pain, but the very nature of it is fascinating, “Beings that have developed special concoctions within their bodies to incapacitate & sometimes kill foes! How interesting!” They would say. Due to the nature of their obsession, many felt uncomfortable in their presence. Their passion for the dangerous often came off a little macabre, but their love was as pure as it comes.
Biography
After reaching adulthood, they found their self faced with a choice. Take over the family business as a pâtissier, or chase their true passion. Leaving their home country of Qree-qra, they traveled to Eversun City in search of their desires. They spent their time studying within the Guild to find a way to make Poisons, Venoms, & Toxins something helpful to others. They quickly found a lot of attention after creating the first Anti-Venom for Manticore Stings, which would give them the funds to conduct their future research, but recently they found their passion lacking. What their abilities were missing was field research, but not wanting to put others in the way of direct danger with facing Venomous Foes, they volunteered to transfer divisions to Wayfarer’s so they could explore quests against creatures that had natural venoms they wished to study. Now, they are somewhat known as a strange healer who is often brought on quests dealing with deadly toxic monsters.
In terms of Personality, they are often soft-spoken, & tend to be quite reserved, but get them on their favorite subjects & they will talk for hours if you don’t stop them.
