Appearance

A stout raggedy older Pestling with unkempt hair, a notch out of their ear, a large fluffy tail, & a coy smile. Their fur pattern resembles that of a Raccoon. They always seem to have some kind of static surrounding their form. It is not a curse, but it is unclear what it is.

They wear a beat up suit jacket with a barely tied necktie along with a pair of pants that is just a size too large. They hold a belt at their waist with a butter knife in the sheath attached. The only nice part of their clothing is a pair of cufflinks from their wife. They are always seen with a cigar in their hand. (Their Arcane Focus.)

Personality

While acting extremely foolish & like a bumbling buffoon, they may not be the brightest, but if one things describes them, it is "annoyingly persistent". Always asking questions & prodding at answers, they have an amazing affinity for breaking people down from constant pestering until they slip up & give inconsistent information. They typically do this through a means of anecdotal stories about their wife & personal life.

Biography

While not much is known about their personal past, what can be pieced together is this. Fumes is a older person with a Draconic wife who loves baked goods & simple pleasures like walking on the beach. They have a rival they don't like to talk about, but always seems to drop hints at their mutual hate, but oddly close relationship. They are hired by the Guild as a private investigator to conduct an internal survey of the Guild Members to weed out corruption. Despite saying this is supposed to be confidential information, Fumes seems to tell everyone they talk to. Whether this is a strategy or not is unclear.

Contributions

Removal & Arrest of certain members of the Eversun Guild, colloquially known as the Hearth, who were embezzling funds from the Guild.

Abilities

Pipe Dream (Fire + Earth): Allows Fumes to create basic constructs out of smoke. They can also create simple familiars with basic commands.
