Dizajni

Dizajni is a forested territory located on the eastern part of Solaurum. Much like Sil’va, Dizajni is an area of highly concentrated aether. The aetherial beings known as the fae hail from this region.

Dizajni's scenery is made out of a variety of greenery as far as the eye can see, multitudes of trees of all shapes and sizes growing so close together their canopies become one big leafy blanket over the area, all sorts of foliage — from flowers to herbs and fungi — sprouting in every possible nook and cranny in their own structured chaos. Vines thickets, lianas and epiphytes curl themselves around trees like adornments and a healthy layer of moist leaf litter stretches across the ground, though this vegetation becomes less dense in the mountainous regions across the northern part of Dizajni’s borders. The country's climate leans towards warmer and humid, with plenty amounts of sunlight but also sudden bouts of rain for the majority of the year. Very heavy and long periods of rain happen during Blossom and Glimmer.

The country has, without a doubt, the most vast diversity of plant life found in all of Solaurum, perhaps it has something to do with the rich aether environment that is able to supply those plants with whatever they need for their continual survival and propagation even if they might not favor the country's weather — though this also means there is a wild variety of very dangerous plants growing in every corner.

There’s a large lake towards the eastern side of Dizajni that connects to the oceans.

Dizajni is a breathtaking sight and also a place where it's extremely easy to get lost on, it's highly recommended one diligently sticks to mapped out paths for their own safety, even its own citizens.

Its environment has a very dense aether concentration, specially earth, wind and water.

Two bubbles exist in the region, one of law and one of whimsy. They contain the corrupted towns of Crysanthe and Lilium respectively. The bubbles are thankfully separated by the enchantments of the forests, preventing the corruption in the surrounding areas from interacting and causing further disaster.

Notable Locations

The Fae Courts

The people of the fae live in a collective of territories known as the Fae Courts that span most of the region. The fey ceded a small portion of territory to the Guild and to the Kazashi noble line for the purposes of allowing Arcane Sciences to work freely in the region and monitor aether levels.

Cinderfall City

A relatively small, secluded city located in the northeast of Dizajni, near the mountain range. Nicknamed "The Eternal Auburn" for the mesmerizing red hues the leaves take, and colloquially known among adventurers as "The Afterlife of Dizajni," due to the fact that adventurers who have lost their way in the forest and have fallen unconscious, may see themselves being taken care of here, which has led some to believe they've discovered the afterlife.

Lilium

Lilium is a former town in the western portion of the country. Once the seat of the Guild’s influence in the region, unchecked whimsy in the region overrode and corrupted every part of the town, forcing people to evacuate to Eversun.

People and Society

Prevalent Races

Dizajni is home to a bountiful fey population due to its very aether rich environment, though errants have also integrated themselves among their numbers. One might still find other races scattered across the country such as fleur, amphibian pestling and kindred, albeit in small numbers. Very rarely sectums might try to establish themselves into the country in hopes that spending enough time surrounded by the dense aether in Dizajni might improve their ability to harness aether — there have been no documented cases of such a thing working.

Government

The region is ruled by the archfey Alba, whose kingdom spans the area surrounding the lake.
