Appearance
Carmilla is a very pale skinned Elvaari woman with pointed ears, short red hair, yellow eyes, and a scar across her left eye. She always has a look of displeasure on her face, unless she’s trying to swindle you. She wears primarily reds and blacks, and prefers tight, high waisted pants and billowy shirts. She carries a dagger on her thigh while doing business, and she has a red suit jacket that she wears on her shoulders whenever she goes out.
Personality
Carmilla is a prideful, snooty, and vain vampire with an inflated ego and a lust for money. She thinks she’s better than everyone and will make it known. She’s a bit of a recluse, staying inside during the day and only going out at night. She dislikes big crowds and doesn’t want to draw too much attention to herself, however she does enjoy attention, just not in large amounts. She makes for a fantastic businesswoman, holding a vast knowledge of hustling tactics including a fake personality she adopts to get her way in deals. With this personality, Carmilla is friendly, sultry and flirtatious. She uses sweet-talking tactics alongside the occasional intimidation when needed.
Biography
Millie was born into a family of very rich Elvaari known as the Bludgraves. They are a very long line of Elvaari, stretching back for millennia. They became known in their town for their extravagant lifestyles, spending large amounts of money on anything but the necessities. Millie’s parents, however, were very secretive. They kept everything to themselves, and stayed holed up in the Bludgrave Manor for the most part, only going out under cover of darkness. Everyone who knew about the Bludgraves found the family very odd, and several rumors surrounding them sprung up in the community.
As a child, Carmilla refused to stay inside the manor out of stubbornness, and so she’d sometimes slip out in the daytime to get into all sorts of trouble. She grew to be haughty, rude and disobedient. It wasn’t until she reached a certain age that she underwent the Radcliffe family’s rite of passage and long kept secret: being turned into a vampire. She was bitten, and soon she began to transform. Not too long after, she left the Bludgrave Manor and decided to start a little side hustle on her own. She would go out at night and make deals with people seeking to be turned into vampires, and she’d turn them. For a price. She adopted an extremely fake flirtatious personality to help her con people into giving her more money. She can turn this personality on and off like a switch, immediately reverting back to her usual uppity self when the deal is done. If she comes across a particularly stubborn client, she is not above resorting to using her dagger to intimidate or threaten them into submission. Her threats are always empty, however, and she never physically harms a client.
She kept this hustle going for a good long while, until she ran into a very mysterious individual. This person, a cloaked figure of unknown origin, told Carmilla about a church. The Church of the Ember serpent. After some debate, she reluctantly showed interest, hoping to find some real meaning to her life there. She uses the church as a hangout spot, spending most of her time there as she continues to go out at night and hustle people.

• Absolutely hates bats and sees them as insufferable pests. However, she does like them as a design motif.
