Pendra

My best friend, someone who relies on me. Perhaps I don't treat her the best, but she's stayed by my side for eight long years, and I wholeheartedly appreciate her. She appears stressed when I'm not around, but I fear the days where we may spend every waking hour together are coming to a close. I want to go into the same Guild division as her, but... I don't know. I do love her, though.

A very accidental friendship starting from the age of ten. The two have been together for almost half of their lives, and Nivian may have been lost without Pendra staying by her side through her adolescence. Pendra was able to give a voice to Nivian, something the latter always struggled with. However, this doesn't stop Nivian from still poking fun at her companion and getting her into trouble. Nothing will ever put that to a halt. She'd love to stay close by to Pendra as long as she can, but lately, she's been concerned about how their interests misalign when it comes to what they want to pursue in the Adventurers' Guild. She's hoping it doesn't cause a rift in their relationship.

Hanzekihel Oulieus

Uncle Hanze is very easy to poke at. It's fun. But I also suspect he's more involved with big brother and big sister than just the Valhalla Project... I wonder...

A face Nivian doesn't typically get to see often, so when she does get the opportunity, she tends to latch onto his company. Her initial interactions with him spurred from Korin telling her he's "easy to mess with," and as her manipulative little self, she took it to heart and often played pranks or assaulted him with inquiries. This turned into a request for him to visit more often as he does humor her curious mind, and now Nivian pays him visits to his office after her academy lectures to further supplement her studies. There's a gut feeling within her that says that her Uncle Hanze is far more than just a donor to the Valhalla Project, though, and has been lurking around for information on that potentially made-up scenario. She's certain something is going on.

Odin Finch

Big sister is a joy to have around. She does so much, and she seems so stressed when big brother isn't around to help her. Hopefully once I graduate from the Academy, I can help her out more.

Nivian gets along very well with Odin. They respect each other very greatly, and often times the two will surmise a scheme to prank Korin whenever he does return to Eversun City. The admiration Nivian holds for her big sister is very high, and often times, she can see the stress and anxiety written on her face when she's dealing with managing the Project alone. She often wishes she can do something more to assist.

Korin Altair

Big brother saved Pendra and I from a monster when we wandered too far from a village. Thank the dragons above... I didn't want to be bound by my family anymore.

When Pendra and Nivian were attacked by a monster wandering the wilds of Ha'zaar, Korin slayed the beast just in time and took them to Eversun City. With both Nivian and Korin being quiet-natured and preferring solitude, he's the big sibling she prefers spending time with. There's a faint, misguided agitation towards the older Kindred regarding his frequent absence, and she's certain that he's faking his job as a Wayfarer. There's a lot of mystery behind him she wants to figure out on her own.
