General description of Ruairi's contributions on any events hosted throughout Castrella's timeline. These encompass the Discord-hosted events hosted by Guild Administration.

Phoenix Fest (1230)

Fire Sword Dancing

Utilizing the necessary skills that Hyde taught him from his pre-Guild days, Ruairi would foray into sword dancing. This was his first time performing and using his swords outside of combat - at least in front of the public, and he used a variety of acrobatics and sword moves across multiple phases, going as far as using his Aether to create fiery phoenix facsimiles. To most people, Ruairi was contributing to the festivities, but to him, he was also doing it to pay respects to his late mentor. His whole sword dancing gig during the festivities left him with the thought that perhaps he can keep on doing this in the far distant future.

Tia's Grand Bonfire Feast

Ruairi was one of the Wayfarers tasked with hunting down an Aether-charged boar that was needed for the feast hosted by Tia Alequin to commence. The boar was perhaps one of the toughest enemies Ruairi has ever fought, so much so that he had to adjust his heat output level to "high" for a prolonged period of time during the last stretch of the fight, almost at the risk of him getting Aetheric scarring on his arms. For the duration of the fight, he resorted to using his odachi for the most part, swapping to his wakizashi when the other was ineffective.

He was also present for the festivities after the hunt and treated himself to plenty of food, taking some leftovers once the feast was over.

Valhalla Project Mini-Festival

As one project's contributors, Ruairi showed up to the Mini-Festival for the first day with a wagon of camping kits for the kids to use, especially for making s'mores. For his involvement in this event, he was gifted a handmade dreamcatcher trinket, something he has on-display at his dorm's desk.

Loco Motion Subjugation

Having heart of the commotion about the Loco Motion wreaking havoc in Line Street, Ruairi took it upon himself to take on the train amongst others who were engaging battle. Fighting a vehicle was a first for the ex-mercenary, and as a result, he sustained multiple scrapes and scratches by the end of the fight. His injuries were later treated by Astrophel Argentum, and took the necessary time needed to recover.

Gourdfest (1230)

The Stageplay of Frights

Upon hearing the emergence of a pitfall-level dungeon in Alula, Ruairi quickly set off to his destination, riding on an Avistus that he rented for transport. After settling in an inn for the duration, he set off and met fellow Wayfarers along the way and in the dungeon entrance. However, things began to go wrong when he set on the Hall of Tragedy, where he was forced to confront the deepest and darkest corners of his past by the fog and his mirror reflection. Even after emerging victorious through such obstacles, what he saw there left him in a state of panic and unease, and he nearly lost control of his Aspect in the process, and it would only get worse when he and the party arrived in the final room to confront the boss, where he ultimately lost control of his Aspect and himself, his mind fixated on killing the boss as soon as possible to shut out the horrors that were haunting him - while unintentionally endangering the lives of others in the process. After defeating the boss, he eventually passed out just as his Aspect stabilized, but not before he obtained a blade sharpening kit as a reward - one that eerily resembled the kit Hyde used to sharpen her blades.

He later awoke in the dungeon entrance, his injuries being treated by the medical staff present.

Whisperween

Ruairi initially planned on leaving Alula as soon as the dungeon was completed due to what he witnessed there and as his injuries fully healed, but he changed his mind upon hearing that Whisperween was currently taking place, though he decided to celebrate mostly alone to give himself some peace and confront how and why he lost control of his Aspect, acknowledging that he still things about his past that he has yet to address.

After the festivities concluded, Ruairi swiftly and quietly left Alula on his own, and took a week-long break from his Wayfaring duties to wind down some more and get his motivation back.

Sundance (1230)

Hair Cutting

At some point, Ruairi made it a tradition for himself to cut off his hair every new year, as to him, it symbolized leaving behind old unnecessary burdens while never losing sight of improving in the long run. As for his cut hair, he has no idea what to do with it yet, a bag of it lying around in his dorm.

Wish Tags

So far, Ruairi has written three wish tags for the following people:

• Hyde (Dusk)
• Ari Lancaster (Daytime)
• Ivan Aisuvan (Daytime)

Dance of Bonds

At the height of the festivities, Ruairi has had his fair share of dances with friends and coworkers, a first time for him since all he knows is sword dancing for the most part. However, by the time by shared dances with Ivan and Ari, it wasn't until he slipped his tag unto Ari's hand, to which the Elvaari ran away after peeking into what was in its contents.

Several days later after Sundance, he and Ivan eventually confronted Ari in his office for some clarification and perhaps to talk things out civilly, only for it to end in a massive fallout between the three. Since then, Ruairi has been distracting himself from that with Wayfaring work for the past couple of weeks and to just focus on improving himself - perhaps almost overdoing it. He acts as if nothing happened, but he wouldn't be lying if he said if he felt betrayed and somewhat empty on the inside. Perhaps what he wrote on the wish tag meant for Hyde echoed how he truly felt: that he was a failure.
