Phoenix Festival - 1230

Quest Complete (PhoeNYX Festival - Lyna) written by Sophie.

Lyna had held some reluctance towards participating with the Phoenix Festival from her own dislike of the heat and crowds, but she nonetheless spent an evening with her dear friend Nyx Roseblood and kept the Kindred company during her antics for that night. Although the night ended on a somber tone, the memory of watching over the warmly lit Eversun City into the night with her friend somber moment created from her moment of being overwhelmed by her memories from her aether sickness lessen the dour mood.

On another night, Lyna had spotted Bunny Burrows' small caravan and tested the potency of Sugarbuns Patisserie's unhindered drive to create some truly spicy sweets, immediately signing the waiver agreeing to be healthy enough to handle the spice the pâtissier was serving up for the event. Lyna had excitedly tried Bunny's small treats where one could mimic the ability to breathe fire (which Lyna had helped Bunny create due to her Arcane Sciences background), forgetting she could just breathe fire with or without the sweets (but that would be less fun!).

The dragon felt the Cinnabombs thrum with Fire Aether beneath her fingertips, before shrugging and "tossing them down the hole", as Nyx would quip. The Kindred would then, also, try to "toss them down the hole", only for Lyna to watch her blonde friend wrestle with the realisation that spicy foods may not be reasonable to consume when you're already in pain (from having a broken arm, which is another story in of itself). Eleanor Valentine had also strolled up to the caravan, sharing in Lyna's excitement for their steel-stomachs being able to handle whatever Bunny had to offer.

The four enjoyed a smile-filled evening together, sharing sweets and not-so-sweet treats into the night.
