Hyde

Late mentor, and was the one who rescued him from the fiery wreckage of the Bellvué Grand Library. Was the one who taught him all the combat and survival skills she knew when she was alive.

Kailan

One of the very few personal witnesses to his combat prowess during his pre-Guild days as a mercenary. Shortly after Ruairi's arrival in Eversun, Ruairi was approached by them, and the two quickly became close friends after realizing they had quite a few things in common with each other, especially when it came to their personal aspirations and struggles. Eventually, Kailan would convince Ruairi to join the Guild to lend his experience and strength as a mercenary to the Wayfarers' Division, and they would be key to bringing out more and more of his good side.

Ari Lancaster

The first person to ever break Ruairi's near-century-long winning streak in a sparring match, which led to Ruairi immediately developing strong feelings of affection towards him. They eventually 【ＤＡＴＡ ＲＥＤＡＣＴＥＤ】, much to Kailan's shock afterwards. Since then, they've become close friends, perhaps even closer than that.

Ivan Aisuvan

Visited the Coldstone Winery after a long session of training, back when Ivan was in charge of the stall. Has taken a liking to since their first encounter, finding his presence rather comforting.

Hyalt Keylen

Fellow Wayfarer. Occasionally gives her lessons on how to use her Fire aether with her weapon, even though he's not the best at teaching.

Odin Finch

Got his ass whooped by several times during sparring matches. They've become good friends in spite of that.

Hanzekihel Oulieus

Ruairi was personally (apparently) hired by Hanze to hunt down a certain annoying little Pestling. [more to be added]

Astrophel Argentum

Following the Loco Motion subjugation during the Phoenix Festival in 1230 and having been injured in the process, Ruairi later had a chance encounter with Astrophel and had his injuries treated, and thanks to the former's warm personality, the two then developed a rather respectable friendship, not to mention that Ruairi quickly warms up to those he likes. During appointments, the two get to talk about the usual happenings and maybe share stories of their past — perhaps Ruairi did discuss to Phel about Hyde at some point if he was comfortable enough. Sometimes, if Ruairi's in a state of panic - which may result in his aspect going out of control - he may seek out Phel for assistance for calming down, and that has saved him many times. During quests, the two make up quite a force to be reckoned with, especially in combat. Ruairi's fast, hard-hitting swordsmanship has been known to catch Phel's eye, but Phel's stalwart dedication to protecting and looking after his comrades has earned Ruairi his utmost respect. Anyone who has teamed up with "the Brightsword" can consider themselves lucky enough, and it is no doubt that Astrophel is one of them, not to mention that he is one of Ruairi's best traveling and fighting companions. Given this however, Ruairi can and will stand his ground if his decisions and thinking are unreasonably questioned. He's probably gotten into a couple of arguments with Phel for a variety of reasons, but if anything, that mostly serves in strengthening their friendship, especially after much-needed clarifications and whatnot.
