Aurora Lynaustralis is the newly applied name for an island on Solaurum, though it is typically regarded as a forgettable sort of location until recent times.

Geography
The previously unnamed island is situated directly south-west of Eversun City, some distance away from the shores of both Qree-qra and Guerre. The landscape is highly inaccessible by normal means due to its large, sheer cliffs around the perimeter. It is thought of to be a once active volcano due to the crater-like structure, though this has only been speculated on until recent times.
Pre-1121
History
Not much is documented of the land before the event in 1121. The Archivist and Environmental Divisions speculate the land had no inhabitants, as it would be a poor location for sustained living. It is thought of that rare occurrences of Dragons could have landed here when falling from Lyrrh al Stahl, though again, it is conjecture.
Although information is scarce, there are few events the Adventurers' Guild have observed:
- ??? to 1121 - the island has existed.
- Sometime after 1111 - Nyx Roseblood visited the island, searching for a way to break her curse and hoping to meet a dragon. She was present on the island when Lyna Solai fell from Lyrrh al Stahl.
- 1121 - Lyna Solai fell from Lyrrh al Stahl, permanently changing the landscape after this time.
Climate
As large cliffs surround the land within from harsh western ocean winds, it is a densely green and cool land inside the crater. This supports a much cooler environment, one often thought to be shaded, but temperate enough to not have snow in Frost/Winter time.

Unknown. Though the island itself could be described as such.
Demographics
It is only home to an array of animals, which are wholly undocumented in full by the Environmental Division. More documentation is needed.

Post-1121
History
While the "history" of this new landscape is still new, there are still few records the Adventurers' Guild have taken note of:
- 1121 - Lyna Solai fell from Lyrrh al Stahl, permanently changing the landscape after this time.
- 1121 - Keldwyn Flannery visited the island with her crew.
- 1121 to 1128 - Nyx Roseblood was frozen in time, and then later found by the guild at some point.
- 1136 - Aristea Eryuna flew down to the island from Lyrrh al Stahl.
Climate
Harsh and typically below freezing. The ice, unlike normal ice or snow found elsewhere in Solaurum, is infused with the aether of Lyna Solai as when she fell from Lyrrh al Stahl. As a result, the landscape has reported to be locked in a permanent winter-scape and the ice cannot be handled safely, melted or mined by any means - something the Dragon herself is researching on how to manage.
The landscape is incredibly hostile to those unprepared, and is documented to be somehow slowly spreading outwards from the initial impact zone. Though the ice is incredibly potent with aether towards the middle of the island, the effects of dense aether lessens the further one travels from the centre.
Notable Locations
While roughly the same scape before the event, the crater now has an incredibly densely and highly dangerous cradle of ice where Lyna Solai landed, shielding her fall. It is incredibly dangerous to approach due to the Dragon infusing the ice with much of her race's naturally higher and denser aether. At night, the ice is said to give off a soft pink-orange glow growing in intensity the closer one travels inland.
It is highly recommended by the Contingency Division to avoid contact with much of the ice in the area. The Wayfarers' Division prohibits expeditions, unless attended by Lyna Solai.
Demographics
While still home to a large array of animals, they have undergone a type of rapid aetheric adaption to the harsh change in climate. More documentation is needed.
