Appearance

Loretta stands rather tall with a toned athletic build. Loretta's Rabbit Kindred ears are long and pointed, which can move around in various emotional states. Her messy hair falls around her head to her chin and her tan skin reflects her active lifestyle in the sunlight. Loretta's golden eyes stare at you warmly. She typically can be seen sporting a long sleeved shirt covering the bandages wrapping around her wrist and forearm while a loose green vest hangs over it. A belt keeps the long sleeved shirt tucked into her adventuring shorts while also carrying various potions and salves that help her in her adventures. Hanging from the belt as well is a well used sword with an engraving of the Guilds insignia near the base of the blade. The sheath is decorated in a similar fashion with sewed on interweaving. She also has on her left arm a buckler with the insignia as well.

Personality

A never ending bundle of sunshine, Loretta is an extremely hard working individual to the point some even call her a workaholic. Rain, snow, or random unlucky encounter, Loretta is near impossible to get to stop smiling with her optimism. She has a tendency to get excited at the prospect of fighting monsters to protect people and can get carried away in this regard. A person in need also becomes her top priority, no matter the task needed. Inspired by the people that saved her, she has a mannerism of saying things that come to her mind that gives people an impression of a heroic, cool aura. Loretta also doesn't realize how she's actually stupendously smitten with the Guildmaster of Civil Affairs.

Biography

Loretta spent a lot of her childhood in the streets. No real family, no real friends. Passerby would look away from her, if they even dared to enter the sunless backstreets and alleyways of the city. Things from before this time, she doesn’t remember. She only remembers the days where no one around her smiled, days where the rain would be the only chance to feel water, days where she’d be lucky to catch a meal despite the wafting scent of it all around her in the city. It wasn’t until one day, in the midst of a hazed awareness from lack of food and sleep, that she accidentally ventured into a street she shouldn’t have in the back-roads. The day was raining above, clouding her judgment more from the noise of people following her. A dead-end alleyway, one of the kinds she expected to find a lucky morsel, instead ended up being a location of people against the Guild, though she knew little about either or, and found herself surrounded by them with her life threatened. She was saved though, by a Guild-member. She was fed, given fresh clothes, and even gifted a little coin to survive the upcoming wet season. She particularly notes this day for how the sun broke through the clouds, the glittering rainfall highlighting the Guild member like a wingless angel. She remembers this day because the way she smiled and cried was how she wanted others to understand. That little act of protection encouraged her to use the money she got to seek out training so that one day she also could work in the Guild to bring smiles to those she protects.

  • Met one day by overhearing a conversation between Kitori and the head of the Orphanage. The heated talking was rather one sided, with how Kitori expressed a sadness to bring up any issues of money, but she still needed the Orphanage to pay its dues to the Guild. Not wanting to see the children of the Orphanage live on the streets the same way she had, she barges into the conversation. “I’ll do it. If I have to work my hands until you see the bones, then I’ll do it. I can’t let these young ones lose the only sunshine they have.” Ever since, Loretta has specifically brought the Orphanage dues to the Guild directly to Kitori, and has made it a point to show her a smile so bright it warms even the glaciers. Over time the visits become more than just business, but rather a time to see her smile and destress from work. She cherishes these moments. (She has no clue how in love she is.)
• Haladen Kloe
  • Loretta knows Haladen… and has complicated feelings about his personality. He’s so good at what he does, yet every time he speaks to someone its like he’s trying to pick a fight. Loretta helps him from time to time, but she notices that his smile, while humored, is never bright. She notices there’s always a cloud in his eyes, and a lot of the time he’s looking straight through her.
