Aisling MacBeryl is a Errant and Tempered hybrid researcher working within the Environmental Division in the Adventurers' Guild, having formerly worked in the Wayfarer's Division.

Aisling stands at a moderately tall 178.4 cm and has a decently thin and athletic build.

Personality

Aisling is a direct and determined individual trying to find and make her way in the world as a free spirit. She is very collected and decently sociable, capable of adapting to various situations, casual encounters or dangerous threats, rather quickly, and is always looking for something new to learn or experience. Perhaps as a result of this, they are struggling with finding their “role to play”, as they see the world and its ecosystem as a bunch of coexisting parts that are all important in value, but can’t seem to place themself within that system. To put it into thematic words, she doesn’t have a dream, and is trying to find hers.

Biography

Aisling was born to her unknown Tempered parent in their hometown, soon taken in to be raised solely by her father Benny in Eversun City. They were taught and trained to enroll into the Adventurer's Guild as a Wayfarer at a very young age, but just within the past year of 1230, managed to get transferred to their preferred Environmental Division.

Aisling's beloved father, Aisling holds nothing but love and care for Benny. The two unfortunately have a bit of a strained relationship due to Benny's insistence on having Aisling be a Wayfarer like him, with Aisling having dug some distance between them in order to find out what she wants for her life on her own.

Events

Sundance 1230

Aisling celebrated Sundance very calmly and simply, which she tends to do every year. They didn't celebrate too much of the holiday out of exhaustion from transferring Divisions, choosing to spend the evening with their father to share dinner together.

Phoenix Fest 1231

As part of the Environmental Division, Aisling's contributions to Phoenix Fest were rather in-depth. A majority of her time was spent leading lectures about the titular creatures, covering a variety of topics from their life-cycle to their preservation as wild animals. They also helped their father host the Breakfast Bash, an annual volunteering effort to assist metalworkers with their surge of work during the season. During her off-hours, she stopped by Suhaan Mavarei's Weary Dreams flash tattoo stand to support her friend and get a few pieces of jewelry for herself, Naliyuma Mavarei's boba corner stand, Eleanor Valentine's stand of knick-knacks, and The Mystical Chickary ran by her coworkers Aeola Serpentarius and Cyrus Lapin to listen to their lecture. Aisling also volunteered for the Valhalla Project Phoenix Festival, to helping supervise the kids and tell them stories of her and her father's various wayfaring adventures throughout the night.

St. Cleo's 1231

Aisling celebrated St. Cleo's rather casually, not helping run any booths but stopping by quite a few of them. She visited Manako Mitsu and Scillia's Cozy Critter Clinic booth, to watch their presentations and pick up a crocheted leaf keychain, as well as Clover and River Tides' Mirage Needs YOU! booth, due to its visual eyesore but also her own genuine curiosity about the organization. They signed up for this year's Game of Kings as managed by the Arcane Sciences Division, successfully winning against Freyja Lest in their matchup, and at the Dunk Tank for Charity booth, they attempted to dunk their Headmaster Guo Hua Jiao.

Trivia

• Likes monsters, insects, battling, nature, and girls.
• She is a monster nerd. Just about anything monster-related, she cares about. They are a huge advocate to make sure that monsters are treated and addressed “properly”, disliking whenever they are dismissed as “simple scary, dangerous creatures”, despite the real terror they do cause. Part of this is informed by their studies and brief time in the Wayfarer’s Division, but primarily by her own interests.
• She is very learned in wilderness survival, with a mild interest in medicine, knowing how to make very simple remedies. This includes using monster parts as needed.
• They do not like being indoors or in any enclosed space. She will be outside any chance she gets, it brings her immense comfort to be in the open air.
• Not a huge fan of the Adventurer’s Guild. She would not be here if not for her father basically forcing her to be here. For that reason, they have quite a bit of resentment towards it, which has only piled on the more and more they’re there. She hasn’t quit due to not knowing where else she’d be.
• Battle style, she is a “dragoon-coded” tank. They’re perfectly capable of holding their own, but can take quite a few hits, and would prefer to play defensive in group adventures, with their Wind abilities geared towards support. She often tends to put her whole body into attacks and defense, amplified by her aspect for more mobility.
