Appearance
Megumi stands at 5'3" and has medium-short light brown hair that tends to cover her face easily. Her eyes are a sapphire blue and her skin is pale. She can be found wearing thick clothes for protection when working on magical machinery, either well knitted denims or leathers. Her jacket/sweater has both the Insignia of the Arcane Sciences as well as her Family insignia (unmade).
Biography
Megumi is a single child to both Lio Nen and Neshi Nen, a renowned inventor family within the guild. She grew up seeing the wonders that science and magic could create as well as seeing the hard work her father achieved to bring his invention to life. The first time she saw an airship fly, Megumi knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life, dedicating her time and family funds to studying better ways to implement Magitech.
Megumi in the time of her study to get into the Guild, met a medical personnel who was aspiring to learn from other scientists/doctors how they implement medicine in tangent with magic for healing wounds. Her name was Maya Nephim, a lovely lady with mixed parents of a human and an elvaari. They were both passionate about their professions, and Maya always seemed willing to push Megumi further in bettering her studies. They spent a few years happily married, until one day Maya fell terrifyingly ill. Megumi didn't have any knowledge herself of what to do about it, and the doctors she could get a hold of at the time didn't know what to do about it. Much to the dismay of Megumi, Maya was not saveable and she perished in the year 1229.
These days Megumi works haphazardly on her projects, much of her previous sparks of inspiration having gone. Currently she works to streamline capsules that hold essence and figure out how they can work together with mechanical machinery to co-exist.

Maya Nephim

Megumi was inseparable from Maya. They bounced ideas between each other often, loved each other wholly, and they cried together when things got frustrating. When Megumi was around Maya she was almost an entirely different person, there was confidence in how she acted towards others. Megumi named one of the airships "Nephim" after Maya.
Eisen Grimm
Oh if he'd just let me see the inner mechanics! I want to tinker with some of his work, I want to see if the leverage of some locations could be optimized is all! Oh but he's so frustrating sometimes!
Megumi is happy to know Eisen Grimm, even if they tend to but heads over their prowess with inventing. These days, even when they disagree, Megumi finds him to be a friend she desperately needed when she lost Maya. Hopefully one day he'll let her see those blueprints he works tirelessly on.

Megumi sees people come and go when marveling the Nen Family works, but she takes good note of those that show genuine interest in the wonder of it all. Jaina just happens to be one of them, and Megumi will gladly talk or answer any of Jaina's question.

Megumi finds Ella to be a cheerful presence. The girl always has a curiosity over everything Megumi does, and Megui doesn't think twice to share her knowledge of mechanical machinery to Ella.
