Chelsea Mordred
Will you help me with this new magic spell I found in this dusty old tome? Don't look at me like that… most of my test subjects come out fairly unscathed! Maybe missing a thumb at best, but it's part of the fun!

Chelsea Mordred is one of several orphans residing in the Valhalla Project premises, she was orphaned after a freak accident involving magic that cost her the lives of both of her parents, but she does not seem to process that she was at fault for it. She's described as a "weird" and "odd" girl by other orphans, the younger ones in particular seem to be scared of her sometimes morbid and macabre thoughts and words, ideas that she has absolutely no issues speaking of… and yet she finds herself asking why people are afraid of her.
Having a deep fascination for the more odd, strange, and dangerous sides of magic, Chelsea Mordred aims to be a "fearful witch" who will one day "cheat death itself," but that latter part might be more of a pipedream than anything else. She has more attainable goals in mind in the form of potionmaking and marriage, however.
Personality
Rather morbid for her age, some of the younger kids are afraid of her, others are more cautious than afraid. She claims to have her healing methods and damaging magicks, but… ehh… I'd be cautious if I were you. With lofty dreams of arcane greatness, and with a great interest in more odd, "curse"-like magicks, having Mordred near is no different than being close to a wicked witch. She does have her less-than-wicked moments, the few that do know her say she's cuter than she looks.
Biography
Chelsea Mordred is the daughter of a married couple of Arcane Scientists of the Hearth, for the longest time, Mordred has had a great deal of interest on the more odd and macabre sides of magick. When she was turned 15, her older sister died to a magic accident in an adventure while casting a big spell to protect her friends. Mordred, still stirred by grief, refused to believe that she was dead— the girl dug up her still-fresh corpse and tried to bring her back via healing magicks, in front of her parents, believing that she has found the key to reanimation… via healing magicks. Lots of healing magicks.
Maybe too much healing magicks, a bright flash lit the room, and, suddenly, all that was left was a silent garden, with three eerily familiar statues around the room. But Chelsea didn't know this, she fell unconscious from using her aether too hard, so she is horribly unaware that she was the catalyst of her parents' "disappearance" within the ASD, this orphaned her, but to her, it was another step towards arcane greatness. ASD has been working to figure out who the bodies are, and they did, but nobody has had the gall to tell Mordred outright. Albeit in odd circumstances, she has been picked up, and is currently being taken care of in the Valhalla Project's orphanage. Multiple grown up adoption candidates who checked in on her wonder with great concern what happened for her to grow this way.

- She speaka in a flat, deadpan tone when she's
