Past

Bunny had a fairly typical childhood; she was happy, healthy, and had a strong family network around her. With her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins constantly surrounding them, she and her siblings were practically raised by a village.

There was never a dull moment while growing up; there was always some sort of celebration or event happening, whether it be a birthday, a wedding, or a family reunion. Throughout all of these gatherings, however, she and her grandmother Sugar were always as thick as thieves, and always in the kitchen. Her grandmother was the chef of the family, making sure everyone was fed delicious and wholesome meals, and Bunny found an interest in everything she did from a very young age. As a result, Nana Sugar took the little rabbit under her wing and began helping her to explore her own relationship with food and cooking.

When she was old enough to attend school, Bunny had no trouble fitting in with the other kids; she made friends easily, found her feet quickly, and while she wasn't part of the typical 'popular clique', she found no trouble from any other students. As she grew up, her grades were average, and she began to struggle with studying even in a classroom environment. Her thoughts were always on what food her grandmother had packed that day, and what sweets they would cook together that night. This continued throughout the middle years of her education, and while she maintained her results for the most part, her disinterest in school became more prominent the closer she got to graduation.

While her parents wished for nothing but happiness for all of their children, it did cause them some concern when her grades began to slip. Sitting her down with Nana Sugar, the four of them had a conversation regarding Bunny and what she wanted for the future. It came to no one's surprise that she wished to study the culinary arts, with a focus on baking. It had long been talked about that between Nana Sugar and Bunny they could open the towns most popular bakery, and with the development the young rabbit's dream seemed to be one step closer.
