An outgoing, starry eyed, and bright adventurer who wishes to find and grow into his own space. A healer with a fighters temperament who refuses to let himself be weighed past by his past.
Appearance
A young Errant Man with next to no physical traits from his partial Elvaari descent. Xie An's main physical traits is his white fluffy hair, athletic build, green eye, and the two moles under his right eye. His hair is styled specifically to partially cover the left side of his face as he was born with only one eye.
Xie An usually wears a sleeveless black top with black pants and boots. He usually wears dark colours and accessorises with brighter colours, and has a preference for gold jewellery.
Personality
Xie An is one driven by strong determination and dedication. Upon meeting him one can learn he's deeply loyal and protective of those he cares for. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and as someone who deeply values human connections, he often chases after people to try and befriend them. He has a more casual and laid back temperament and gets a little awkward in stuffy formal settings. Often times he finds the presence of open and relaxed discussion to be most liberating and important.

Yi
A bo staff he always carries with himself. It is almost the same height as him and is quite hefty and solid in weight. Although it is a threatening weapon, it doubles as a walking stick and helps Xie An gauge the distance of things in front of him. Will hurt if he accidentally hits someone's ankles with the end of the staff though.
Lucky Charm
Xie An carries around a lucky charm that is a red rope tied with decorative knots and beads. Although only a little superstitious, he refuses to venture out without it and attributes much of his good fortune to it.

Parents

Xie An has a tense and strained relationship with his parents. His mother had great complications during her pregnancy which resulted in Xie An being cursed at birth. His mother struggled to bring herself to love Xie An, which caused great imbalance in her magic and health. As a result, his mother parted from his father, and Xie An was solely raised by his fathers family. Xie An's father tried his best to raise Xie An alone, but his likeness to his mother made him unable to even look his son in the eyes for a few seconds. Despite the struggles he has experienced, he finds it hard to not idolise his mother. Much of his motivation and desire to master Light magic is to one day find his mother and prove that he was never cursed, or a burden, and that he was able to grow into his own person.
Extended Family

He does not have a strong relationship with his grandparents on either side. Most members of Xie An's extended family see him as a by-product of a curse, as opposed to another family member. He feels like a burden forced upon them. However, his desire to prove them wrong is a strong driver for his desire to find his own future without them.
Trivia
- If it matters, Xie An is 25% Elvaari and 75% Errant. His mother is half Elvarri and half Errant.
- Xie An is born with Anophthalmia. He is completely blind in his left eye as a result of intense stress during his mothers pregnancy.
- His proclivity towards Light magic is due to his mother also being Light aspected. His abilities however pale in comparison to his mother's.
- A good physical fighter, he isn't about to be some wimp healer who can't hold his own alone.
