Vriella Oulieus' Elvaari bodyguard who has been with her for centuries. They are so close, they treat each other like family.
Appearance
Alterma is rarely seen without her armor, only taking it off when she's doing gardening. She wears a very typical set of metal armor which is covered by a rugged hood and drapped with torn up cloth scraps.
Without her armor, Alterma dresses in a tunic with green pants. She is tall, lanky but also slightly muscular. She has faded almond coloured hair with strands of white hair clearly noticable, a lightly tanned complexion, yellow-orange eyes and long pointed ears. A 3-tipped claw mark rests across her face, going through her right eye, causing it to lose its vision and color.
Personality
She is very quiet and robotic, only speaking when spoken to. Alterma rarely smiles, it is not to say she has a lack of personality. But rather she forgot what that personality was. Thanks to Vriella, she is slowly gaining back her personality, only showing it only to the Oulieus family for the time being.
When she was younger before her brother's disappearance, she was a very quiet and shy girl, always trying to help others despite her mild fear of people.
Biography
Alterma Ballahast is the current heir to the House of Ballahast, loyal servants to Heartsford and to the Oulieus family. Having past her cousins in numerous trials and combat, she had earn her right to bare the title. Alterma was once a sweet and shy girl, though even she had faced hardships under the watch eye of their parents. Every member of the Ballahast household goes through strict training to compete against each other and claim the top spot in their family. There was no rule or need for this, it was just tradition. Alterma's training wasn't as harsh as she would not be the chosen candidate to represent her family, it was her brother. But after his disappearance, everything was placed onto her shoulders. And the once shy girl had become a hollow shell who's only purpose was to fight and take orders. When her brother disappeared she was 22, her training increased tenfold, only ending 10 years later. She would soon be appointed as Vriella's bodyguard and be by her side 24/7 for the next two centuries.
