Prevalent Races

Tírr's population consists mostly of kindreds, errants, elvaaris and submatarius. Sectums are particularly rare due to the country's extreme cold climate being uncomfortable or bordering on unbearable for most of them. On the other hand, Tírr is known to have a very large variety of kindred both lesser and greater, being home to some of the biggest families composed of them.

Tírr's landscape is composed mainly by sheer cliffs that plunge directly into the ocean, massive mountain ranges, taigas consisting of various types of coniferous trees where most of the country's wildlife resides, with merciless permafrost tundras and bountiful steppes on the lowest and warmest areas of the island, where most of the agriculture is done. The seas surrounding the island are also dotted with a variety of interestingly shaped sea stacks.

The truth is, thousands and thousands of years ago, the island of Tírr was home to various volcanoes who have since gone extinct, since then, the country's entire climate has changed dramatically. Some of the traces of said volcanos still exists, like the natural hot springs located on the lower areas of the country or the beaches with black sand formed by volcanic minerals and lava fragments. However, it's said that in the darkest depths of its complicated system of caverns and tunnels, the magma that once bubbled up to the surface still simmers and someday it'll find a way back to the surface.

Ice, earth, water and wind are the main aether types present in the environment.
