A sharp-tongued Elvaari historian from the Adventurer’s Guild's Archivist Division. A man who prides himself in his work and his family. Nothing else matters.

Appearance

He has a lanky, skinny figure. He is shorter than most Elvaari his age, making him seem rather small in comparison. He has faded almond coloured hair with strands of white hair clearly noticable, a lightly tanned complexion, yellow-orange eyes and long pointed ears adorned with ear accesories that connect to his glasses.

He wears a murky green suit with a pale green inner shirt, along with an orange cravat and thigh height boots. On occassions during the cold season he will wear a large overcoat.

Personality

Ulvultar is a very work-focused individual, he prefers less talk more action to get work done faster to achieve the task at hand. This translates to how he interacts with others, giving his explainations in an almost outwardly mean tone, sometimes sarcastic or passive-aggressive. However towards his family he becomes a puddle of goo, outwardly cheerful and overprotective over his loved ones whom he adores.

Biography

"How dare you! You are the next head of the Ballahast household! Abandoning your position and the family's future for your own selfish reasons! I simply will not allow it!"

Ulvultar comes from the minor noble family of the Ballahasts, he was next-in-line to be head, but he abandoned his duties to be with the one who he cherished and adored.

After elopping with Oat to live elsewhere, they settled on the outskirts of Eversun City where they made a home for themselves. Ulvultar took up the job of a historian at the Adventurer’s Guild since he had quite the knowledge of the nobility in Castrella. Due to his mild distaste for nobility after his scuffle with his family and past acquaintancs, he does not sugar-coat what he writes about them and actively make sure it is as truthful the pimary source.

He entrusts his son to the guild in hopes they will be able to take care of Senti and allow him the freedom he so wished for.

Senti Ballahast

His beloved son whom he watches over like a hawk. As he grew up with a weak body, Ulvultar was very overprotective of him to the point that Senti felt trapped. His meaning is noble but his actions need work. His relationship with his son is not bad but Senti does get tired of his antics at times.

Oat

His beloved wife whom he adores more than the universe itself. He would do anything for her. She was the one who showed him that his life had more meaning than just being a noble cattle. His humble maid who he grew alongside, he watched her grow as a person while he stayed behind, but she didn't want to leave him behind. She wanted them both to grow together.

An old childhood friend, they used to be close like siblings but due to conflicting ideals they drifted apart. She hates his stubbornness and he hates her guts, they are constantly bickering with each other when they have the chance. He's constantly on guard ever since reuniting with her as she seems to be questing to steal his wife Oat away from him.

Attached in a portrait of two individuals that is barely keeping itself together. These items are placed in a box full of bat fur within Ulvultar's study, in a place where only he can find it.

• Before Ulvultar met Oat, his wife, he was a loose canon back in the day. He was in relations with many individuals regardless of race, gender or social background. He did not care. But after settling down he did everything to erase every trace of his past, but there are still those bright flames he could not blow out.

• He has a bad rep amongst women, he does not know why but he keeps catching their hands and not in a good way. Many women have spoken to Oat telling her that she should leave him, he's not worth it.

• He wears glasses with fake lens to make himself look more serious and professional to his colleagues.

• He wears platform shoes to make himself seem taller.

• He's often seen wearing multi-layered clothes regardless of the weather. Not even his own family has seen him without at least a long sleeved button up. The reason as to this is unknown but it would appear he has something to hide.

• Often cries in his office when he's alone. Mostly due to having to keep up his professional persona and stress.

• He had short hair when he was young but a turning point in his life lead him to grow out his hair.
