Civil Affairs Division

What does the CA Division do?

• Eversun City’s pillar of stability.
• Passes laws, hires city guards, proposes community events, keeps local peace, and conducts assemblies.
• Every major city in Castrella has their own personalized CA division.
• Eversun City’s branch is run by headmaster Kitori Kanna, a fox Kindred who has held her position for 100 years.
• They are the most disliked division by the general public, as they are the ones who also collects and manages taxes, property sales, licenses, and generally upkeeping the laws they pass.
• CAD (Civil Affairs Division) members tend to be fairly uptight and take their jobs very seriously. It takes willpower to be a tax collector, you know.
• A governing body known as The CA Council facilitates the law submission process. It is made up of 148 individuals, all of differing genders, species, ages, and origins.
• The residents of Eversun City also often get to be called to place their anonymous input on bills of law that are in the pending approval stage. It is a mail-based ballot system.
• Each CAD branch has access to each others' handbooks of laws.
• The Culture Subdivision within CAD has employees tasked with documenting anthropological studies within cities and uses that knowledge to keep citizens safe and happy.
