Leit Hamlet, is an Elvaari researcher at the Adventurer's Guild. While he is cheeky, mischievous and cheerfully unpredictable, there's no denying that he's skilled at what he does.

Appearance

There was an air of innocence about him, despite him being anything but. His hair was the purest shade of white, seeming to defy the night itself, and his glimmering blue eyes shone even through the darkness around them. Not even nature itself could keep him from shining.

Leit is a young man with a youthful appearance that closely resembles that of a child. He is most easily identified by his snow white hair and bright blue eyes that seem to reject darkness itself, a symbol of light. From his left ear hangs an ice-blue gemstone of an earring that is shaped like the full moon, an accessory that glows gently in the night.

While Leit does not choose to adorn himself in fanciful outfits, his well-to-do upbringing can be seen from his choice of thick, patterned luxurious fabrics. While the cut of his clothes themselves aren't particularly special, it is easy to see that he came from a place of wealth.

Personality

"It's a big world out there! So many possibilities! It's a shame not to explore them all, don't you think?"

Bright, cheerful, and fond of mischief, Leit has made a bit of a name for himself over in the Arcane Sciences Division as someone capable, but also someone who can be a bit of a pest. He's kind, friendly and helpful- good at communicating, fast at his job, able to explain even the most difficult of concepts in the simplest of terms, but he's also endlessly cheeky and mischievous, always seeking to indulge in the tiny, thrilling pleasures found in everyday life. Most people know him, and those who don't, at least know of him. And despite his reputation as a bit of a cheeky prankster, he's quite well-loved around the block for always bringing rejuvenating cheer into the area.

Despite all this, though, it's a little difficult to get close to him. He doesn't enjoy talking about himself more than necessary, and his surprisingly deft tongue can swiftly navigate through conversations to shut undesired dialogue paths down. No one really knows much about him. Not his age, not his past, not anything of his background.

Why should they be privy to this information? It's not like it matters to them.

Leit, who lives solely in the present, cannot understand.

Asche Thousain

"Bored? Don't worry. I'll make your life a lot more exciting."

Leit's partner of one entire year. They may not have known each other for long- certainly not from Leit's humble perspective- but he trusts this man with his life, but maybe not his keys. Though they seem to have clashing personalities- one quiet, one outspoken, one cheerful and the other sullen- they're actually quite similar people and deeply appreciate the other, who seem to be the only one who understands them. They're the twin terrors around here- gleefully causing petty nuisances and silly little pranks. Usually going undiscovered. Well, Asche goes undiscovered. Leit's kind of built a reputation around here as a troublemaker. But he's good enough at his job that he can get away with it, no problem.

They don't talk about much, really. But they don't need too talk about much. Leit's a good judge of character, you see. He's lived a rollercoaster of a life- by choice, mind you, but nevertheless, still a rollercoaster- and he's got sharp eyes and an even sharper nose, for this sort of thing. He knows what kind of person Asche is, and he knows what Asche sees in him. He doesn't need to know anything more. All that matters is right in front of him, lay bare for all to see.

"He's just so funny, you see! You wouldn't be able to resist if you were me, would you?"

Leit's favorite plaything at work. His reactions are just too entertaining. He doesn't have anything against him as a person, though. In fact, he quite likes him.

"You're saying you're the cause of someone else's bad day? Cheer up. I'm sure I've ruined far more days than you have! Make sure I'm not adding your day to that list, 'kay?"

The nice lady from the Civil Affairs Division that Leit often strikes conversation with. She always looks constantly tired, and so Leit feels more than a little bad for her. There's no harm trying to cheer someone like that up. She's always been good to him, after all. He knows how to pay things back.

(He doesn't seem to notice her affection towards him.)
