Appearance

A snake-like tempered with long ears, pink hair, & hot pink eyes. Basil wears a pair of hair clips, along with a single earring on his left ear. His skin is green, with some lighter & darker green accents. He also has a Tattoo on his right arm resembling a biting snake.

A striped tail juts out from behind Basil, having a head at the end. This is Leviathan, who prefers to be free, despite how visually concerning she looks.

Basil typically only wears outfits he is comfortable with. A Sleeveless turtle neck & long pants.

Personality

Of the first half of this duo, Basil is quite the pushover. He's very easy to manipulate & tends to doubt every action he makes. When stressed, his eye starts to twitch, & if pushed to an extreme, he can go into a mental state of total shutdown, passing out & giving Leviathan full control.

Of the second half of this duo, Leviathan, or Levi for short, is aggressive & controlling. She has a habit of always speaking her mind, even when she shouldn't. She tends to take her anger out on Basil, giving the excuse that it is only to make him stronger.

Biography

Basil was originally apart of a cult, their goal to summon an ancient Leviathan to devour the world. At the age of 9, he was chosen as a sacrifice to bring the creature to our realm. The incorrect runes were chosen, & when the arcane summoning ritual finished, rather than freeing the beast into our plane, it instead became attached to Basil's body. This, however, was seen as a sign. The cult proceeded to force Basil out into the world, his first experience anywhere outside of a cult, & told him to not return until it was "Devoured". He still doesn't fully understand what that means. A week later, they would accidentally all perish in an arcane explosion accidentally triggered by one of the sigils.

Around 9 years later, he would meet Joey on his travels. Up until not, Basil's survival was entirely due to Levi's ability to heal them. Joey, seeing the duo had a rough relationship, offered to help them escape their forced partnership. A goal they both shared.

Now, the two have been teamed up with Pitfiend, who has been giving Basil confidence lessons, & acting as a reminder to Leviathan to be kinder. . . Or else. As much as the two are basically invincible, they still suffer from pain.

Abilities

Inky Blood (Dark + Water): Allows Basil to move his tattoo independent of his body. He typically uses this to wrap around caster's necks to stop them from providing verbal components to spells.

Healing Factor: Due to Leviathan's unnatural healing, the duo can regenerate entirely lost parts of the body in an instant.

Magical Hunger: Leviathan is able to eat magical objects & deactivate them during this time. She is also able to regurgitate them later, however, this does not remove their magical abilities.
