Vriella Oulieus, an Elvaari who is the current High Elder of the Oulieus Family and a successful business woman engaging in the tea business! The Heart of Heartsford Cliff, a town located in Sil’va. A cheerful lady who holds many secrets, let it be her past, present and future. She is the grandmother to Hanzekihel.

Appearance

For formal businesses, she appears in public in a formal attire, yet classy looking. Often equipped with an umbrella. The umbrella is a disguise of a short staff and is actually a weapon for self defense. Vriella often wears fancy dresses, too, at other times. Usually in bright colours and accessories. She has a long straight pale green hair and slightly darker shades of green can be seen. Her hair is often let down, only tied up for formal appearances, and the length of her hair can be reached down to her thighs. Her eyes are also green because wow green…! She acts (and looks) like a helpless maiden at times but that’s just how she attracts others with her charm. She is not a maiden, she just wanna have some fun and leave you heartbroken.

Personality

Vriella is a very calm yet happy-go-lucky woman. During important talks, she’s very serious and confident, but other than that, she enjoys telling jokes, messing around with others and she acts very freely, making everyone around her comfortable. Not a single ounce of awkwardness! However, do not take her friendliness and easy approach for granted as she can definitely take you down with a kick.

She hides many things, many secrets, many unspoken feelings.

Biography

Vriella Oulieus, a fine woman. The middle child among three siblings. Eldest daughter of her family. She was raised with a lot of pressure of being a perfect daughter to carry on with the family business. She grew up to be a very strict and responsible lady but everything changed after her divorce and pulled down by a brokenhearted curse.

Among her siblings, she is definitely the most successful in her studies and magic. Her parents deemed her as the most eligible to be next in line to hand down the business. Her siblings were against it due to envy. It did not bother her one bit. If one works hard, one will achieve their dreams. However, with all her seriousness and responsibilities, there are days where she sneaks out from her lessons to play with the Ballahast kids, Ulvultar Ballahast and Alterma Ballahast.

Being the daughter who’d agree and do everything her parents say, she was tied down to an arranged marriage with a man. Everything was business. After a few years, they were granted a beautiful daughter. Their marriage did not last long, unfortunate yet somewhat fortunate? The man was causing issues in the business world and his actions would soil the Oulieus name. Vriella was disappointed, felt that she was taken for granted. This was when the brokenhearted occurred, not due to being out of love, but the feeling of being used. With her curse manifesting in her heart, a daughter to raise on her own, a trade business and tea plantations to deal with, she had a bit too much on her hands. Not long after, she encountered a woman known as Lady Radialy who guided her into handling her curse and indeed, she was able to get rid of it completely with her help and Vriella’s own efforts.

Her daughter’s life didn’t last either, at least for an Elvaari. Not even for a century. Her death came a bit too early, along with the death of her husband, Vriella’s son-in-law and the only thing they left was their one and only son, Hanzekihel. He was struck with a serious case of Faltered after the death of his parents. Vriella had been taking care of him ever since and even until current day, he is still under the surveillance of Vriella.

Hanzekihel Oulieus

“If he is her most beloved treasure then I will be here to protect him as she was once my treasure. I wouldn’t let my daughter be disappointed in my actions, she entrusted me to look after him before she left, forever. People usually say, prevention is better than cure and yet I failed to prevent it from happening. A curse on the boy. The cure is working but it hurts to see him in pain. Vriella raised him after the death of his parents and is apparently overly protective over her grandson. His every issues, let it be regarding his health or others, she’d be the first to know about. She’s out there making sure that he knows she will always be there for him. Vriella is the one person he trusts the most. No matter how much of a crybaby, hopeless, pathetic man he grew up to be.

Alterma Ballahast

“Alty here may be my bodyguard, the one who protects me, yes? But if anyone dares hurt her, sleep with one eye open.”

Vriella’s most trusted bodyguard, knight, friend, sister. Their friendship ever since they were much younger stays strong until this day. The two, three, if we were to count Alterma’s brother from the past, were very close. They had a special bond, other than having the Ballahast being loyal to the Oulieus. They were just children, doing children things, playing and having fun together. Until the day Ulvultar left the family and dropped all of his responsibilities to his younger sister, Alterma. Vriella knows very well what it’s like to be betrayed and therefore, she has been there for Alterma, to give her all the support she needs. She considers Alterma as her own sister that she never had.

Ulvultar Ballahast

“Ulvy, why would you ever do that to your own sister? Your own family?”

Vriella and Ulvultar go all the way back to their childhood, together with his sister, Alterma. They were so close you could even think they’re all siblings. However, some things don’t last forever. Vriella was very disappointed with Ulvultar’s behaviour of ditching, leaving his family. This woman had been pushed with endless responsibilities and yet never once she’d ever think about leaving her family. She still cares about him like her own brother but she still won’t forgive him for his decisions.

Lady Radialy

“A very mysterious woman, not in a bad way. I sometimes think I owe her my life!”

This woman she met one day, after falling into a curse, was like fate. Lady Radialy, it feels as if she is death herself. This is the woman Vriella relied on during her worst days. The one who helped her get rid of her curse and teaching her a few things. Lady Radialy also tried helping her with Hanzekihel’s curse and yet there was nothing much they could do for him.

“Hearing about him from what Kihel tells me about— Hmm! I see! I have my distrusts with men but if it makes you happy, I guess I can tolerate this one! Oh, but the Kindred should know that if anything were to happen to my grandson, watch your back.”

The Lancasters have been an old business partners with the Oulieuses. For Vriella, Ari is a flirt who is very honest with what he wants and is very good with his words. She doesn’t hate him. She does like people who are honest. He’s surprisingly very good with children and even the young shut-in Hanzekihel would want to play with Uncle Ari back then. But, ah, I guess Kihel probably hates him now.

“When Kihel told me that an acquaintance of his would come over to visit during her wayfaring activities one day, I didn’t expect the person to be such a beautiful, strong-looking dragon lady!”

The citizens of Heartsford Cliff do not accept outsiders fondly but since she was a guest by an Oulieus, they had to accept her and any other guests. Vriella would never turn down any tea enthusiasts. Whether it’s for her to expand her business or simply to have tea and enjoy each other company, she’s ready to serve. Selena is one of her frequent visitors she’d never refuse to meet and would gladly even let her try any new tea samples or specials!
