			Purrtômes are a asexual species, they have no distinct gender but people tend to give them pronouns based off their physical appearances, this does not affect anything about the Purrtômes, it's just a decorative term. How Purrtôme reproduce would be a merging similar to that of cell division. Two Purrtômes will fuse into one larger shadow like fog, this period can last up to maximum of a full day. Once the process is over the fog will dissipate and the two Purrtômes involved in the process will leave as shadows and return to their original forms, leaving behind a soft black sack that will hatch into a Purrtôme runt after a few weeks. Depending on the environment, either parent will stay behind to look after the egg until it hatches. However, should the environment be too risky they may just leave the egg behind as is.
