			In addition to having attended her classes, Monica's time with Rae is the reason her weapon came to be. Monica's scythe is one of her own design, but she specifically sought out Rae's help in its construction and regularly visits her for its upkeep and maintenance.

			Monica admires Leo's sense of idealism and desire to help all in need. She feels that they have much in common and becomes fast friends with him.

The pirate expressed interest in her, resulting in a flustered but earnest attempt at flirting back followed by passionate yapping about her position on the Outerworld Division. The two have grown extremely close in the months since, and Monica will occasionally overcome her fear of water to greet her at the docks whenever she returns from her voyages. Monica and Kel take each other out on dates whenever possible.
