Granted; Rosario didn't want his daughter to get in deep danger, but those were journeys that she enjoyed regardless. It was around this time that Serafina's mother, Isabella, moved to Eversun City with plans of becoming a member of the Creative Commons division.


			Since then, the two have become more inseparable, having each others' back in their adventures. Unfortunately, such times would not last long, as one day, Rosario and Serafina were ambushed by a terrifyingly powerful monster, not wanting his daughter to get killed, Rosario urged her to run away back home, staying back to fight the beast, in hopes that it would buy her enough time to return safely, promising that he would make it back, even if it would cost him a limb.



			Shaken by the sudden turn of events, Serafina ran away, hoping that Rosario would come back victorious, like he always does. Like he had promised. But it was not one of those days. When news broke out in her seventeenth birthday that they had found the lifeless body of the man, Serafina insisted with heartbroken tears that his body he buried near the apple tree close to the household. A request that was mournfully accepted. Since then, she had lived the rest of her days in the house, alone. It was around this time that she learned how to cook on her own, mostly as comfort and distraction from that life-altering event.

Serafina Yunuen Amantea is an Errrant student soon to graduate from the Guild Academy, on her way to become a proper Wayfarer. Despite her looks, she actually has some experience under her belt, keyword being "some." Following on the footsteps (and maps!) of her late father Rosario, Serafina wishes to be not only a Wayfarer, but a treasure hunter the likes of which people will sing praises for. When she's not knee-deep in her studies (and adventuring getaways whenever Civil Affairs isn't looking), she absolutely enjoys cooking, and is amazingly proud of it, too.

A couragous, optimistic, somewhat cocky and hot-blooded girl, Serafina is a free-spirited girl who is always going places, never stepping down in the face of any obstacles or challenges. That said, it's this postively boundless nature that causes her to miss the details and nuances of some things. Unfortunately, she can be impulsive, arrogant, sometimes coming off as prideful. She can also be somewhat disorganized, which sometimes turns off other students from collaborating when it comes to group projects.

* Really considered selling some of the relics she brought over from her house back at her hometown were she to move to Eversun and have a fancy house there, but Rosario said no. Countless times, as a matter of fact. His noble heard decided that should she ever bring those to Eversun, that they'd belong in a museum for preservation purposes. She genuinely intended to sell some well after he passed away, but could not bring herself to do so.
* She wakes up every day at 8AM, she relishes in having the rays of the sun gently grace her body every morning.
* A big eater when it comes to *breakfast,* she thrives for the big, lavish breakfast. Otherwise she'll eat anything else like a normal girl. But the breakfast has got to be powerful.
* Needs the reading glasses. Sometimes she carries them around even when she's not reading. She likes their shape, apparently. But it's also so she could look cool throwing them aaide before charging into battle! …This also means she has to get new ones whenever she commits to the bit.
* VERY PROUD OF HER COOKING, ESPECIALLY HER COOKING. Her cooking isn't actually that bad but to her it's a big hit to her self-taught cooking skills. She gets miffed at best and irritated at worst when she gets something wrong.

			* During Phoenix Fest 1231, Leo has basically just stood watch, he isn't taking part in any booths or activities in the festival. And it's definitely because of past experiences, considering he wanted to take a break from adventuring and being on guard all the time, but since the last two times he tried to do that were… less than successful, he decided to not find entertainment and just stand watch, making sure no people were up to funny business.

Prideful and arrogant to strangers (ojou-sama like), but very caring to her residents

== Biography ==
It was not determined if Alba or the forest was born first, yet no one will ever know. All the Archfey knows is that she and the forest are one. She wanders through the trees all over Dizajni with the other fae for millennia, until other beings began to settle down on the land. Unaware of their intentions, she restricts her movements to the southern area of the forest. As the years go by, various fae speak to her about their crazy contraptions, some in awe and some in fear. Unsure of what they should do, Alba asks if a group could gather information on who lives near and what they do while asking another group to keep the new beings at a distance without harm.

As the centuries pass, Alba uses her influence of her surround area to grow more trees to make traveling more difficult, but keeping her growing kingdom safe. The initial lookout grew into a daily reconnaissance mission while the fae courts of her kingdom have their harmless fun with potential visitors to push them away from their home. There are a couple instances where Alba takes interest in the growing cities that she allows some trade in order to learn more about the world, but will be very stingy about the aether-rich wood of her kingdom and not major deforestation.

== Personality ==
Terra is very closed off emotionally speaking. She puts on a fairly outgoing front, but even so likes keeping to herself as much as possible. Outwardly, she seems very cocky and gung-ho, never letting her doubts show and always thinking multiple steps ahead. She has a tendency to treat every situation like a game she can win.

To some, she’s seen as a hero, but anyone who knows her knows how truly ruthless she can be. She will not hesitate to lie to your face if she thinks it will benefit her somehow. That said, if she makes a promise, she has a tendency to try to keep it, even if she has to weasel her way out of it with tricky wording.

== Biography ==
From a young age, Terra had experienced a rough childhood in extreme poverty, and she did not have much. Not content with the little she had, Terra soon took to stealing extra food (particularly small snacks like chips). By the time she was 12, her skills had expanded and she became a rather notorious thief. By 15, she was carting around small food caches, aether crystals, and even some advanced tech with a group of her friends.

One of these friends was Cassidy Kaslana, a young rabbit kindred who had moved to Terra's town two years after an incident left her severely corrupted with whimsy. The magic she gained from this corruption helped Terra's crew escape from all sorts of trouble, allowing them to teleport away from the scenes of their crimes with minimal effort. Due to a municipal law in Terra's hometown, much of what they stole was legally theirs, as they often disappeared so fast that the owners could never verify their identities. And so, for a time, things were good, until it all catastrophically backfired.

After one particular operation, Cassidy was shot while opening a portal to escape. Cassidy attempted to use her whimsy to heal her wound, but in so doing burned herself out, causing her to instantly experience a beckoning. An OWD squadron which happened to be stationed in the area quickly swept in to contain and dispatch Kaslana before her burnout could manifest an explosion of whimsy spores. Terra could only watch as her best friend was contained and taken away, presumably to be destroyed far away from the center of town. She blamed herself for the incident; perhaps, if she had acted faster during the operation, she could have prevented Cassidy from overexerting herself and saved her life. ''If only'' she thought, ''I'd had a little more time...''

A few short years later, while out in the desert, crossed paths with a giant tortoise-- a sovereign which called itself Alexander. Alexander had heard of Terra's plight, and while it could not reverse the sands of time, it claimed it could prevent her from ever feeling like she doesn't have enough time ever again. And so she makes a pact with the sovereign.

Terra spends the next few years using her new power to enact vigilante justice. The act doesn't last, however, as the people of her hometown sully her reputation, claiming Cassidy's death was her fault as the ringleader of the gang. Frustrated with life in Vyper, Terra eventually strikes out to live life as a different kind of outlaw. She eventually winds up in Mermillion and after a chance meeting with an old pirate captain, she eventually joins his crew and eventually takes over when he retires just a few short years later.

Within the past year, she was found by a pod of submatar from Mermillion marooned on a deserted island with little more than a flintlock and her gunblade. These days she is something of a wanderer, taking her time to explore the continent. Her years have made her a bit jaded, and so she tends to see the worst in the places she visits first.

== Abilities ==
Using the power of her sovereign, Terra can freeze the passage of time, up to about 60 seconds while standing still or approximately six if moving. Movement in this state takes an immense amount of energy, vastly increasing her aether drain, and can quickly deplete her aether entirely, running the risk of burnout. So instead, Terra mostly uses it while stationary, using the ability to quickly read a situation and consider her options before executing on a plan of attack. This advantage makes her an incredible tactical genius, giving her complete control over situations that would otherwise be deemed unwinnable. To this end, Terra is a bit of a gambler, often finding thrills in the moments when the odds are stacked against her. Usually she only uses this ability to dodge incoming attacks or escape dire circumstances in a pinch, as, again, moving while the ability is active requires a greater amount of mana. To the outside viewer, this gives the impression of heightened speed.

Terra can also unfreeze any object or person she touches while the stasis is active, but much like herself, her mana drain increases as long as the object remains in motion.

Terra’s gravity functions as normal within stasis, so she can’t really use it to slow a descent or something. Falling mid-freeze also still consumes mana heavily like other motions. The temporal stasis ends if either

a) Terra reactivates her watch or

b) Terra runs out of aether.

Running out of aether mid-freeze abruptly thrusts Terra back into the standard flow of time. The shock of this sudden shift often results in immediate exhaustion.

Terra’s gunblade can accept standard revolver rounds as well as aetheric spellweaving cartridges (colloquially known as aether bullets). Each cartridge can be filled with aether of any kind. She charges some of these with her own earth aether, but often enlists the help of people with other aspects for additional kinds of aether. Wind cartridges are common among her arsenal and are used to propel her across short distances quickly.

Most of this time, at least in so many millennia ago, she dabbled in learning her dark aspect in something that might not obtain a proper word for a very long time. Necromancy, or the art of lifting a body into a state similar to life. It worked well in hand to her delicate knowledge of curses and how to dismantle them and so the respect she had garnered for keeping the peace of the rested was well known.

	It wasn't until she ran into two orphans that had escaped from the large city that she found herself with company. ~~She~~ took them in, an adoption without the legal paperwork, and made sure they were able to grow up to be adults. She taught them what she could, allowed them the chance to chase their thoughts and ambitions, and when the time came... she simply allowed them to leave. Every now and then she still gets visited by them, a rare time she expects.		It wasn't until she gave birth to her own children, a pair of twins in the form of a daughter and a son, that her life had changed for course. Her husband never got to see the children be born thanks to an ill-fated encounter in his travels for work. She raised them by her lonesome and through the collective effort of neighbors that sought to assist the poor widow. They grew up decently enough, but times back then were far different to the current Guild led era. Adventurers were rare and beasts were always a concern. Illness spread easily and much of the world knew little about the magic that they carried on them unless they were self taught. Both of her children caught ill, and without having any ability to heal them of it she had to bury her two children as well. Grief struck in the midst of a graveyard, a place filled with such things of emotion, she decided to do something one should never have attempted even with her knowledge of this dark aspect. She attempted to raise her children. She attempted to bring their soul back into their bodies. Fair it is to say that her attempt not only didn't work, it horrifically backfired. The grief that had stricken her grew immense, collecting all of the energies in the graveyard around her. It ripped her soul apart to replace it with her cursed knowledge of the undying and used it in tandem of her children's souls to bring up the bodies if but only for a moment. Regret is the other emotion that pained her that day. They were not her children anymore, they were something of an abomination that didn't recognize their own mother. She used the arts she had learned and mastered to cast those soul fragments back into the world, so that they may be one day reincarnated, but her own soul was too fragmented to be of any use to her own body. Her hubris created her in the image of things she had raised before. Undying. Powered by the curses she dismantles. The people now feared her immensely, saying wherever she walks death follows, and this new set fear by the population stuck to her another set of curses that linger around her. She became a myth to people in all the years to come.

			After acquiring her curse, she would roam the lands for over a millennia, lands that saw the birth of the Guild. With it came new rules, new laws, but most avoided someone like the Witch of the Void. Most feared her. Yet most need of her services, services towards a powerful force of the world that she's studied delicately. Her understanding of these forces over the millennia has given her an incredible insight into the nature of curses, making her an incredible expert, but she refuses to give this knowledge to the guild.

			It wasn't until she ran into two orphans that had escaped from the large city that she found herself with company. They looked far too similar to her own children that it halted her from the task she had set herself towards. The raging fires in the distance was holding so many emotions of fear and sadness that it had attracted her nearby and she had originally sought to see if there were souls that needed to be eased. But... she couldn't leave these children be. So she took them in, an adoption without the legal paperwork, and made sure they were able to grow up to be adults. She taught them what she could, allowed them the chance to chase their thoughts and ambitions, and when the time came... she simply allowed them to leave. Every now and then she still gets visited by them, a rare time she expects.
