== Appearance ==

Jaina Ryder is an Errant woman with pale white skin, short curly black hair in a side shave style, sky blue eyes, freckles and a slit in her left eyebrow. She has a fit build with some noticeable muscle tone, and she’s rather short, coming to five feet four inches. Her outfits are comfortable and simple. She likes wearing cropped shirts and jackets, baggy pants, boots, and sometimes more form fitting clothing. She wears bindings on her arms and hands for protection while sparring, and around her upper torso for the same purpose, but also to hide the scar on her back that she got from exposure to law corruption. This scar is located on her mid to upper back area, and it takes the shape of a perfectly symmetrical butterfly design, the same design on her necklace. When in the field she wears her travel belt with a small bag on one side and her sword and scabbard on the other.

== Personality ==

Kind, compassionate, and brave, Jaina is a beautiful young woman with a big heart and a wild spirit. She’s quick to get attached, and when she does she’ll never leave your side. Her energetic personality is contagious to those around her, and she loves making others smile. She’s generally an easygoing person, but she can get upset if she’s feeling overwhelmed. She hates getting like this however, and will try her best to calm down. She’s a strong individual, but knows when she needs help and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She enjoys the company of others, but especially her friends.

She’s dedicated to her work in the OWD, constantly working hard both with her squad and by herself to better understand the corruption that killed her parents and left her permanently scarred. But she still knows how to relax, and won’t turn down a night out with friends.

== Biography ==

Jaina was born to Kasi and Marla Ryder in the year 1210, in a humble home just on the outskirts of Eversun. Both of her parents were affiliated with the Guild, her mother Marla was a seamstress working for the Creative Commons Division, and her Father Kasi was a researcher for the Arcane Sciences Division. On Jaina’s 18th birthday, her parents gifted her an engraved necklace with a design of Jaina’s favorite animal: a butterfly. What they didn’t tell her is that this necklace was imbued with aether, and they gave it to her as a way to protect her from any harm.

They lived together peacefully, until one day their land started to become corrupted with Law. The corruption affected her parents drastically, giving them terrible symptoms that only worsened over time. When the OWD finally showed up to contain the corruption and rescue the Ryder family, they were already too late. They found a grieving Jaina crying over the bodies of her parents. They took her to safety within the hearth and immediately had her corruption levels checked, and to the doctors’ shock, she wasn’t nearly as badly affected as her parents were. This could’ve been due to the unreliable nature of the chaotic elements, how no two corruption cases are the same, or it could’ve been due to her aether imbued necklace.

After receiving treatment and settling into her temporary home at the hearth, she decided to sign up to the OWD to research and understand the corruption that killed her parents, and maybe put a stop to it. 2 years later at the age of 20, she had completed the necessary curriculum and was ready for her first mission. She and her squadron led by captain Odin went out to investigate and gather research on a nearby Law bubble, just on the outskirts of Eversun. Not long after entering, Jaina knew where they were. It was barely recognizable, but she knew she was back home.

Large pillars of perfect shape and size broke up the landscape, which was itself changed into a series of right angles and squares. There was a structure, broken and disheveled beyond repair, but as Jaina looked it over she saw the familiar shapes of her childhood home. She became distracted, and in her distraction she didn’t notice she had broken off from the group. As she explored she also didn’t notice she was being stalked by a sovereign. It waited for an opportunity and when it came, it struck. It ambushed Jaina from the shadows and tackled her to the ground, causing a great struggle and ripping a hole through her PPE gear. It overtook her and prepared to blast her with chaotic aether, but at the same moment the rest of the team came to Jaina’s rescue and attacked the creature, causing it to miss its target. The blast hit Jaina directly on her special necklace, and instead of killing her, the energy just shot through her body and left a perfect scar on her back. The exact same image engraved on the pendant was now engraved into her own skin.

The necklace didn’t protect her completely however, and she still suffered from basic law corruption symptoms after the incident. But the scar serves as a permanent reminder to continue her work, as well as a reminder of what happened to her parents.

Jaina is a dedicated member of the OWD, devoting as much time as she can to her work. She’s proven to be a reliable team member and a real bright light among her peers. Still only a rookie, she hopes to make many more meaningful contributions in the future.

== Abilities==

As a member of the OWD she is well versed in several combat styles, including ranged, melee and hand-to-hand, but she really prefers to punch most of the time. She’s agile and quick, and has good stamina, proving her to be a rather helpful member of her team. Born into the aspect of wind, she never underwent aether magic training since her parents deemed it unnecessary. After her exposure to Law corruption, that became all but impossible.

•Jaina has always had the dream to fly one day. She would watch the birds and the butterflies around her home and long to fly just like them. With the recent rumors about airship technology, those dreams may soon come true.

•Her favorite color is purple.

•Growing up, her mother would sew most of her clothing for her. She was particularly drawn to purple shirts, jackets, etc, one of her favorites being a jacket that she was gifted at the age of 17 (it still fits her quite well).

•She’s good with animals, and they’re good with her. She would often play in the fields around her childhood home with the family dog, Skye.

The pointed ears of a certain fiery haired lass perk up at hearing Nyx’s announcement. Keldwyn was enjoying a day full of festivities, and she was just about to wind down for a few minutes of rest, but what was one more game? The Half-Kindred smiles and struts towards the stall, swagger turned all the way up.

“Ahoy! I’d like to take ye up on yer challenge, love.” She states confidently. Without another word, she pulls a stool in front of her with her foot and sits down, rolling up her sleeves and slamming her elbow down on the table, presenting her ''left'' hand. A coy smirk appears on her face along with a raised eyebrow.

Once her challenger is ready, and with their hands clasped together across the stall, Kel’s smirk remains, but her eyebrows furrow, anticipating what’s to come next. Nyx takes a breath in, readying her next words.

Marla was kind, tenderhearted and a very loving individual. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her caring personality brought warmth to the lives of those around her.

She grew up in one of the more expensive districts of Eversun, living with her mother who taught her how to be a seamstress. She joined the Creative Commons Division at 19 in 1199, opening her own little seamstress shop in the market district. One day, she ran into Kasi in the halls of the hearth, and they fell in love. They married in 1202 and a year later, Marla and Kasi came to an agreement and she transferred into the ASD, becoming a Whimsy researcher in S&S. She put as much work into her research as her husband did, and together the two became very valuable to the ASD.

Hardened, blunt and honest, but with a soft interior. He would do anything to protect and take care of those he loves, even if it meant dedicating his life to research.

== Biography ==
Kasi was born and raised in the Valhalla Project district prior to the fire of 1209, and joined the guild at the age of 20 in 1198, going into the Arcane Sciences Division as a researcher in Sword & Scabbard. While in the guild, he crossed paths with Marla, and the two fell in love and later married in 1202. They both shared a want to have a child, and so to prepare, Marla transferred from Creative Commons to the ASD and worked alongside Kasi in order to find the best possible method to reduce and possibly reverse the effects of corruption, should their own child ever become corrupted. Kasi studied Law, while Marla studied Whimsy, hoping that their combined efforts would bring the results they wanted.

They moved to a village on the outskirts of Eversun in 1209 in order to raise the child they were planning to have, while continuing their work as best they could. Later in 1210, their daughter was born. For 18 years they lived peacefully and continued their research until on Nova 17th, 1228, they gifted Jaina the culmination of their life’s work: a single necklace imbued with aether that they theorized would prevent corruption entirely. 5 days later, their home was overtaken by a wave of Law corruption, which affected both Kasi and Marla drastically. Another 5 days, and their corruption symptoms got so terribly bad that they passed away. Jaina would have died, if not for her necklace. She was corrupted, but the effects were so reduced that it felt and looked as if nothing happened. Soon after, an OWD squadron intercepted the corruption, evacuating Jaina and setting up a containment bubble.

One day while out collecting things on the outskirts of Pao’lakia, Cora saw a figure diving in the distance. Swimming down to the bottom and back up over and over again. Curious as ever, Cora moved in to investigate. She came face to face with Nova, and was immediately interested in her. She followed as Nova swam back up to resurface, but when the kindred climbed out of the water and onto the land, Cora stayed behind. She explained how she’s not allowed to interact with the land dwellers, but this didn’t stop her. The two found ways to see each other regularly, Nova swimming down to play with Cora, and Cora surfacing near the waterfront to speak with Nova. Eventually, Cora’s visitations were brought to a stop when her grandmother found out, and as a way to keep the young submatar safe, she forbade her from seeing Nova again. Once Cora was old enough to leave on her own, her and Nova would cross paths again, reuniting the childhood friends once more.

After arriving on land and wandering into Eversun for the first time, Cora became particularly interested in a certain ant sectum making his rounds in the city. She tailed him for quite some time, keeping her distance and watching from afar, studying this individual who didn’t look like anything she’d seen before. Little did she know he’d been doing the exact same: watching Cora and taking notes whenever she wasn’t looking. Eventually, their paths inevitably crossed, the two literally bumping into each other. Laughs were had, and they introduced themselves. Since then, Cora has seen Senti as her brother. She drags him to events and outings despite his objections, and often can be seen hanging out together under any given tree. Cora loves Senti with her whole heart and sees him as a protector of sorts, resulting in the two being a nearly inseparable pair.

Oat sees Cora as her own daughter, and Cora sees Oat as the mother she never knew. When Senti introduced them, Cora immediately started calling her “Mama Oat”, much to Senti’s surprise. She often visits Oat at the Ballahast manor when she can, and takes her out to the market district for shopping sprees.

After learning about the Valhalla project and all the orphans there, Cora decided to pay them a visit. There she met Odin, and Cora almost immediately latched on, seeing Odin as her big sister. She is a valuable asset to the project, helping out with mini events and festivals for the kids. She also is a beloved member of the family, with every child there treating her as their big sis.

But every time she sees her big brother, she makes it known that she loves him. Even if he doesn’t verbally reciprocate.

One day at the Valhalla project, the kids were gathering around for story time. Cora, being her usual curious self, was intrigued and sat down in the crowd with the kids. She was excited and eager for her first story time, and sat restless until the storyteller came up and started reading. It was Monica Holst, and once she got going, Cora’s eyes lit up at her enthusiastic performance. The kindred’s animated movements, facial expressions and voices delighted Cora, and she was thoroughly infatuated with the story. Once it was over, Cora ran up and gave Monica a big hug, thanking her for the unforgettable performance. Ever since, they became good friends, with Cora sitting in the crowd for every single one of Monica’s stories.

Cora oftentimes will visit Tallie’s office, bombarding her with questions and stories just like she’d do to anyone else. Hopefully Cora’s presence serves to help Tallie forget about her sorrows, if only for a moment.

She sees her as a little sibling, and treats her as such, as well as all the Valhalla kids.

Pendra is, in fact, a lot like Cora. Peppy, cheery, and perhaps a little loud at times. Although compared to Cora, she’s a lot louder than her. Cora will sometimes challenge the dragon to footraces in Harper Park, or if she’s not feeling very active, she’ll just let Penny yap to her about whatever or ask questions Cora definitely doesn’t know the answer to.

Despite the disparities in their personalities, somehow Cora still found a way to become friends with Nivi. Due to Cora’s sheltered childhood, there’s still a lot about the world that she doesn’t know, which means she is the perfect target for Nivian’s curiosities regarding the unknown. Cora falls for the things Nivi tells her every. Single. Time. Always resulting in confusion or harmless little accidents. But aside from that, Cora makes for a great listener, and will always listen to and try to understand whatever Nivi comes to her with.

At the project, the two of them will spend time looking for cool bugs in the grass, or just sitting together in silence under the big Harperberry tree.

Cora and Meri share a unique friendship. When Cora first visited the project, Meri persuaded her to take her to Sugarbuns, and of course, Cora accepted with no hesitation. Ever since, the two have become something of a force to be reckoned with, with Cora blindly falling for Meri’s girlcharm every time and helping her achieve what she wants. But Meridian makes up for it by letting Cora play along with her fantastical games, and Cora is always happy to play the role of “Mermaid Princess” in Princess Meridian’s Harper Kingdom. In her own words: “Every kingdom needs a mermaid princess!”

The two also go on shopping sprees whenever they both have the free time, with Meri teaching Cora about fashion and makeup and how to look extra pretty and sparkly like she does.

The twins might be a handful for anyone else, but Cora somehow manages to stay sane around them. She does a great job at matching their energies to make sure they’re the most comfortable. As mentioned, Cora loves coloring with Castor, and will even go out and buy the best coloring books and pencils she can find for the little birdy. As for Pollux, she’ll often bring him lots of fun toys to keep him occupied.

Olive Fields is a short, pale skinned Kindred woman with the physical traits of a white mouse. She has two large white ears on top of her head, and a long pink hairless tail, along with a pair of buckteeth. She has olive green eyes, freckles and short white hair tied back in a bun. She wears a pair of round glasses with a glasses chain attached and a pair of olive earrings. Her outfit consists of brown shorts and a brown crop top, a long green cardigan, and black buckle shoes with loose white socks.

== Personality ==

Olive is a shy, timid and quiet person. As a child, she felt more comfortable around books than people, preferring to stay at home and read than play with other kids. She became socially awkward, and developed these traits as a result. Working as a librarian, she’s become more used to talking to people, but still appears shy. She speaks with a stutter, and on top of that, she picked up a vocal tic where she’ll click her tongue like the chittering of a mouse. This usually only rears its head when she’s deep in thought, or when she’s rambling passionately about books.

== Biography ==

Olive was born on Reaping 33rd, 1204. She was one of 8 siblings, having three younger sisters and four older brothers. The Fieldses were a rather simple family living in Eversun City, with the parents, Chester and Brie Fields, running an independent bookshop in the city called “Hole in the Wall Books”. Being surrounded by books most of her young life, Olive became obsessed with them. She would spend hours reading books in her room, or organizing the shelves in the bookshop.

She grew to treat books as her best friends, and would rather be with them than play with the other kids. This resulted in her becoming socially awkward and shy. Once she was old enough, Olive decided to join the Guild as a librarian at the Grand Library. Since joining, she’s adopted a vast memory of every book and document in the library, memorizing the exact location of every last one. While timid and quiet, her passion lies in books. If asked about them, she will excitedly talk to you for hours about her favorite novels, stories, and official records.

Olive participated in magic classes as a teenager to learn how to use her ice aspect, and honed it to the point of being able to use it to her advantage in her daily life. She uses it to keep drinks cold, manifest small tools and utensils, and to help her climb the tall library shelves. She has no wish to further learn her magic, however, preferring instead to use it as a tool.

Since joining the Archivists, Olive has proven to be one of their most valuable librarians, given her commitment to memorizing every aspect of her job.

== Appearance ==

Cora is a blue skinned submatar with design elements based on the Blue-green chromis (Chromis Viridis). She has patches of dark blue scales along her hips and sides, as well as her cheeks and forehead, and covering her breasts. She has a gradual gradient of turquoise/green skin on her legs and feet, and patches of “blush” of the same color on her knees, elbows and face. On her calves and forearms she has light blue fins resembling the dorsal fin of the Blue-green chromis, with her ears resembling the pectoral fins. She has long white hair that falls to her mid back, black eyebrows and pink eyes. She has dark blue freckles on her cheeks and nose, and webbed hands with webs the same color as her fins. She wears a simple pink cottage style dress that’s easily removable for swimming purposes.

== Personality ==

Her whole life, Cora has been a lively and bubbly little fish. During her time in Pao’lakia, she was very curious of the strange items that would fall to the ocean floor, and she would collect these and admire them. She also has a fairly adventurous attitude, and would put herself in danger more often than not when raiding shipwrecks or traversing deep trenches in search of new treasures. Now with her new life on land, she’s even more curious than before. She loves exploring and meeting new people. Overall, she is a rather naive young woman, having very little to no knowledge of the land above. She’s very friendly, and quick to make friends. Once you get to know her however, she will not stop pestering you with questions about what you do or who you are. She’s learning!

== Biography ==

Cora was born in the underwater submatar city of Pao’lakia on Prism 31st, 1206.

The people of Pao’lakia are very reclusive, keeping to themselves and having some rather misguided views on the land people. They see anyone from the land as a threat, and have cut off any and all contact with the land above. They also have strict rules regarding items from the land that fall down to the ocean floor. They view these as highly dangerous and will immediately have them destroyed on sight. They refuse to use the land items, relying only on their own handmade tools and clothing.

Cora, however, never truly followed these teachings. She was a rebel. She would go out and collect land items she found interesting, sneaking them into her secret cave where she’d hoard them and admire them. She was very curious about these items, and longed to one day visit the land to find out more about their origin. She’s a very creative submatar, and would love to decorate her cave and her room in her home with seashells, undersea flowers, seaweed and pretty rocks of all kinds. She lived in a small submatar home just outside Pao’lakia with her grandmother, [[Winnow Chromis|Gramma Winnow]].

Cora lost her parents when she was very young, at the age of 2, to be exact. They were both part of the underwater guild of [[Elix'ren]], and would help in searching nearby wrecks. On one of these searches, they made the mistake of going by themselves, and soon realized that the wreck they found was in the dead center of a corruption zone. They were attacked by Sovereigns, and were never seen again. After the Guild came to Gramma Winnow to deliver the news, she took Cora under her care and raised her as her own.

When she was 23, Cora finally told Gramma Winnow about her wishes to leave the city and explore the land above, which Gramma was immediately very supportive of. She urged Cora to go and live out her dreams, and so she did. She bade Gramma Winnow goodbye and set off in secret, so that the other Pao’lakians didn’t see. She left with nothing, hoping to make herself a new life in this new world. When she got to the surface, she was found by a humble old fisherman and his daughter who gave her clothes and took her in.

Now she lives happily on land with the family who found her. She goes out every day to explore, constantly finding new things and learning about them. She relies on the fisherman to teach her most things, but she often finds herself asking questions to random people, which half the time results in her finding a new friend. Eversun city is her favorite place to visit, due to all of the amazing things she can find there.

A year later, after settling into her new life and learning about the guild, she decided to put her creativity to use and joined the [[Creative Commons Division]] as a party/event planner.

Cora has been a wonderful addition to the CC division ever since she joined, bringing her unique energy and creativity to every event and party she plans. However due to cultural differences, her efforts often result in confusion. But she takes this as an opportunity to learn about the way of life on land and better understand it.

Due to being a submatar, Cora is a very fast and agile swimmer. However since she is not fully accustomed to life on land, her speed and agility are slightly affected, making her just a little clumsy with her footing. She has a keen eye for creativity, and often has unique insight and advice to offer to others given her upbringing.

Jaina Ryder is an Errant woman with pale white skin, short curly black hair in a side shave style, sky blue eyes, freckles and a slit in her left eyebrow. She has a fit build with some noticeable muscle tone, and she’s rather short, coming to five feet four inches. Her outfits are comfortable and simple. She likes wearing cropped shirts and jackets, baggy pants, boots, and sometimes more form fitting clothing. She wears bindings on her arms and hands for protection while sparring, and around her upper torso for the same purpose, but also to hide the scar on her back that she got from exposure to law corruption. This scar is located on her mid to upper back area, and it takes the shape of a perfectly symmetrical butterfly design, the same design on her necklace. When in the field she wears her travel belt with a small bag on one side and her sword and scabbard on the other.

== Personality ==

Kind, compassionate, and brave, Jaina is a beautiful young woman with a big heart and a wild spirit. She’s quick to get attached, and when she does she’ll never leave your side. Her energetic personality is contagious to those around her, and she loves making others smile. She’s generally an easygoing person, but she can get upset if she’s feeling overwhelmed. She hates getting like this however, and will try her best to calm down. She’s a strong individual, but knows when she needs help and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She enjoys the company of others, but especially her friends.

She’s dedicated to her work in the OWD, constantly working hard both with her squad and by herself to better understand the corruption that killed her parents and left her permanently scarred. But she still knows how to relax, and won’t turn down a night out with friends.

== Biography ==

Jaina was born to Kasi and Marla Ryder in the year 1210, in a humble home just on the outskirts of Eversun. Both of her parents were affiliated with the Guild, her mother Marla was a seamstress working for the Creative Commons Division, and her Father Kasi was a researcher for the Arcane Sciences Division. On Jaina’s 18th birthday, her parents gifted her an engraved necklace with a design of Jaina’s favorite animal: a butterfly. What they didn’t tell her is that this necklace was imbued with aether, and they gave it to her as a way to protect her from any harm.

They lived together peacefully, until one day their land started to become corrupted with Law. The corruption affected her parents drastically, giving them terrible symptoms that only worsened over time. When the OWD finally showed up to contain the corruption and rescue the Ryder family, they were already too late. They found a grieving Jaina crying over the bodies of her parents. They took her to safety within the hearth and immediately had her corruption levels checked, and to the doctors’ shock, she wasn’t nearly as badly affected as her parents were. This could’ve been due to the unreliable nature of the chaotic elements, how no two corruption cases are the same, or it could’ve been due to her aether imbued necklace.

After receiving treatment and settling into her temporary home at the hearth, she decided to sign up to the OWD to research and understand the corruption that killed her parents, and maybe put a stop to it. 2 years later at the age of 20, she had completed the necessary curriculum and was ready for her first mission. She and her squadron led by captain Odin went out to investigate and gather research on a nearby Law bubble, just on the outskirts of Eversun. Not long after entering, Jaina knew where they were. It was barely recognizable, but she knew she was back home.

Large pillars of perfect shape and size broke up the landscape, which was itself changed into a series of right angles and squares. There was a structure, broken and disheveled beyond repair, but as Jaina looked it over she saw the familiar shapes of her childhood home. She became distracted, and in her distraction she didn’t notice she had broken off from the group. As she explored she also didn’t notice she was being stalked by a sovereign. It waited for an opportunity and when it came, it struck. It ambushed Jaina from the shadows and tackled her to the ground, causing a great struggle and ripping a hole through her PPE gear. It overtook her and prepared to blast her with chaotic aether, but at the same moment the rest of the team came to Jaina’s rescue and attacked the creature, causing it to miss its target. The blast hit Jaina directly on her special necklace, and instead of killing her, the energy just shot through her body and left a perfect scar on her back. The exact same image engraved on the pendant was now engraved into her own skin.

The necklace didn’t protect her completely however, and she still suffered from basic law corruption symptoms after the incident. But the scar serves as a permanent reminder to continue her work, as well as a reminder of what happened to her parents.

Jaina is a dedicated member of the OWD, devoting as much time as she can to her work. She’s proven to be a reliable team member and a real bright light among her peers. Still only a rookie, she hopes to make many more meaningful contributions in the future.

== Abilities==

As a member of the OWD she is well versed in several combat styles, including ranged, melee and hand-to-hand, but she really prefers to punch most of the time. She’s agile and quick, and has good stamina, proving her to be a rather helpful member of her team. Born into the aspect of wind, she never underwent aether magic training since her parents deemed it unnecessary. After her exposure to Law corruption, that became all but impossible.

•Jaina has always had the dream to fly one day. She would watch the birds and the butterflies around her home and long to fly just like them. With the recent rumors about airship technology, those dreams may soon come true.

•Growing up, her mother would sew most of her clothing for her. She was particularly drawn to purple shirts, jackets, etc, one of her favorites being a jacket that she was gifted at the age of 17 (it still fits her quite well).

Keldwyn is a half Elvaari, half bovine Kindred with long flaming red hair, freckles and green eyes. Her skin is tanned from prolonged exposure to the bright ocean sun, and her hair is wind-tossed and rather messy. Physically, she appears to be in her mid to late 20’s. Atop her head are two bull-like horns that point forward and curl upward slightly. She usually wears a long billowy white blouse with frills, with a brown leather corset overtop, which causes the hem of the shirt to create somewhat of an open front skirt. She also wears reddish brown pants with lace-up sides and knee-high brown leather boots with multiple straps and buckles. Strapped around her right thigh is a leather holster for her flintlock pistol, which she carries on her person everywhere she goes (unless she’s in an area that prohibits weapons).

== Personality ==

Having grown up around pirates, some of their personality traits rubbed off onto Kel. She became loud, rude and arrogant as a result. However since she left behind her old ways and signed up for the Adventurers Guild, she’s been trying to reform herself. She’s still as boisterous as ever, but her arrogance and overall rude demeanor have begun to show themselves less and less. She also picked up a rather flirtatious attitude, and will use it to get what she wants, whether it be money or simply to rise a reaction. She’s a fiery spirit who’s always eager for adventure, and a loyal companion to those she holds dear.

== Biography ==

Keldwyn was born in the year 1007, in the month of Harvestine during the phase of the Siren, to her parents: an Elvaari mother and bovine Kindred father. They were an innocent family who lived in one of [[Castrella]]’s more impoverished port towns, until it was attacked by a brutal pirate raid when she was still a baby. Both of Kel’s parents were killed, leaving her to be kidnapped by the pirates and taken to their homeland of Murmillion.

She went on to be raised by the pirates, tagging along on their many raids and pillages, seeing things that no child should be seeing. By this point, she had fully taken on the life of a pirate. She led this life for over a hundred years until one fateful raid she happened to be on.

One day, her pirate crew had kidnapped an adventurer from the [[Wayfarers' Division|Wayfarers’ Division]]. While she was kept below deck in the brig, Kel snuck down to take a better look at her. Having never seen someone like this before, she was curious. She struck up a conversation with the adventurer, who told Kel all about the guild, [[Eversun City|Eversun]], The Hearth, and so much more. Kel was enamored, and that night while the crew was asleep, she helped the adventurer use a dinghy to escape.

Ever since that encounter, Keldwyn had dreams about joining the guild. It wasn’t until she was 113 that she finally decided to leave Murmillion, and thusly her pirate life, behind. She went to [[Eversun City]] and lived in the streets until she was 199. It was then that she’d finally join the guild and signed up to the [[Trade Division]], thinking her skills would be most useful there.

Now 223, Kel is fully devoted to her job. Sometimes she still finds herself swiping gold or other valuable trinkets from shipments as a bad habit, but she’s working on it. Overall, she’s happier with her new life, new job and new friends, and looks forward to every day as if it were a new adventure.

== Contributions ==

Keldwyn has proven to be a (somewhat) reliable captain for the [[Trade Division]]. She’s always perfectly on time with her shipments, but there’s always at least one item mysteriously missing. Other than that, she excels at every aspect of her job. She calls herself the best captain in [[Castrella]], and while it is a self appointed title, it does have some merit.

== Abilities==

Although being aspected to water, Keldwyn has no aether magic training whatsoever. Instead she relies entirely on her wits and the skills she learned as a pirate. She is extremely agile, oftentimes swinging from the rigging to reach the highest masts, or walking along the bowsprit without the fear of falling off. She’s also very skilled with a flintlock and cutlass, and sharp as a nail.

== Trivia ==

•Hates the concept of airships with a passion. She’s a bit old fashioned and thinks there’s no need for the change, despite the clear benefits it would bring. It’ll take her some time to warm up to the idea.

•She has quite the golden voice and loves to sing shanties, both while at sea or on her days off.

•Smells like seawater all the time due to her extended hours at sea, and her less than frequent baths/showers.

•Due to having no one in her life to teach her, Kel never really learned how to read or write. She stole one letters book as a kid and went from there. She has very base level reading skills, and her writing is full of typos and looks like chicken scratch.

•Loves drinking at the local taverns and will absolutely be drinking buddies with anyone who wishes to. The more the merrier, as she would say.

•Does not wear underwear.

•Favorite color is either orange or gold. She can’t decide, but she’s leaning more towards gold.

Kasi was born and raised in the Valhalla Project district prior to the fire of 1209, and joined the guild at the age of 20 in 1198, going into the Arcane Sciences Division as a researcher in Sword & Scabbard. While in the guild, he crossed paths with Marla, and the two fell in love and later married in 1202. They both shared a want to have a child, and so to prepare, Marla transferred from Creative Commons to the ASD and worked alongside Kasi in order to find the best possible method to reduce and possibly reverse the effects of corruption, should their own child ever become corrupted. Kasi studied Law, while Marla studied Whimsy, hoping that their combined efforts would bring the results they wanted.

They moved to a village on the outskirts of Eversun in 1209 in order to raise the child they were planning to have, while continuing their work as best they could. Later in 1210, their daughter was born. For 18 years they lived peacefully and continued their research until on Nova 17th, 1228, they gifted Jaina the culmination of their life’s work: a single necklace imbued with aether that they theorized would prevent corruption entirely. 5 days later, their home was overtaken by a wave of Law corruption, which affected both Kasi and Marla drastically. Another 5 days, and their corruption symptoms got so terribly bad that they passed away. Jaina would have died, if not for her necklace. She was corrupted, but the effects were so reduced that it felt and looked as if nothing happened. Soon after, an OWD squadron intercepted the corruption, evacuating Jaina and setting up a containment bubble.

As a child, Carmilla refused to stay inside the manor out of stubbornness, and so she’d sometimes slip out in the daytime to get into all sorts of trouble. She grew to be haughty, rude and disobedient. It wasn’t until she reached a certain age that she underwent the Radcliffe family’s rite of passage and long kept secret: being turned into a vampire. She was bitten, and soon she began to transform. Not too long after, she left the Bludgrave Manor and decided to start a little side hustle on her own. She would go out at night and make deals with people seeking to be turned into vampires, and she’d turn them. For a price. She adopted an extremely fake flirtatious personality to help her con people into giving her more money. She can turn this personality on and off like a switch, immediately reverting back to her usual uppity self when the deal is done. If she comes across a particularly stubborn client, she is not above resorting to using her dagger to intimidate or threaten them into submission. Her threats are always empty, however, and she never physically harms a client.

She kept this hustle going for a good long while, until she ran into a very mysterious individual. This person, a cloaked figure of unknown origin, told Carmilla about a church. The Church of the Ember serpent. After some debate, she reluctantly showed interest, hoping to find some real meaning to her life there. She uses the church as a hangout spot, spending most of her time there as she continues to go out at night and hustle people.

She can turn this personality on and off like a switch, immediately reverting back to her usual uppity self when the deal is done. If she comes across a particularly stubborn client, she is not above resorting to using her dagger to intimidate or threaten them into submission. Her threats are always empty, however, and she never physically harms a client.

She kept this hustle going for a good long while, until she ran into a very mysterious individual. This person, a cloaked figure of unknown origin, told Carmilla about a church. The Church of the Ember serpent. After some debate, she reluctantly showed interest, hoping to find some real meaning to her life there. Olive Fields is a short, pale skinned Kindred woman with the physical traits of a white mouse. She has two large white ears on top of her head, and a long pink hairless tail, along with a pair of buckteeth. She has olive green eyes, freckles and short white hair tied back in a bun. She wears a pair of round glasses with a glasses chain attached and a pair of olive earrings. Her outfit consists of brown shorts and a brown crop top, a long green cardigan, and black buckle shoes with loose white socks.

== Personality ==

Olive is a shy, timid and quiet person. As a child, she felt more comfortable around books than people, preferring to stay at home and read than play with other kids. She became socially awkward, and developed these traits as a result. Working as a librarian, she’s become more used to talking to people, but still appears shy. She speaks with a stutter, and on top of that, she picked up a vocal tic where she’ll click her tongue like the chittering of a mouse. This usually only rears its head when she’s deep in thought, or when she’s rambling passionately about books.

== Biography ==

Olive was born on Reaping 33rd, 1204. She was one of 8 siblings, having three younger sisters and four older brothers. The Fieldses were a rather simple family living in Eversun City, with the parents, Chester and Brie Fields, running an independent bookshop in the city called “Hole in the Wall Books”. Being surrounded by books most of her young life, Olive became obsessed with them. She would spend hours reading books in her room, or organizing the shelves in the bookshop.

She grew to treat books as her best friends, and would rather be with them than play with the other kids. This resulted in her becoming socially awkward and shy. Once she was old enough, Olive decided to join the Guild as a librarian at the Grand Library. Since joining, she’s adopted a vast memory of every book and document in the library, memorizing the exact location of every last one. While timid and quiet, her passion lies in books. If asked about them, she will excitedly talk to you for hours about her favorite novels, stories, and official records.

Olive participated in magic classes as a teenager to learn how to use her ice aspect, and honed it to the point of being able to use it to her advantage in her daily life. She uses it to keep drinks cold, manifest small tools and utensils, and to help her climb the tall library shelves. She has no wish to further learn her magic, however, preferring instead to use it as a tool.

Since joining the Archivists, Olive has proven to be one of their most valuable librarians, given her commitment to memorizing every aspect of her job.

Jaina Ryder is an Errant woman with pale white skin, short curly black hair in a side shave style, sky blue eyes, freckles and a slit in her left eyebrow. She has a fit build with some noticeable muscle tone, and she’s rather short, coming to five feet four inches. Her outfits are comfortable and simple. She likes wearing cropped shirts and jackets, baggy pants, boots, and sometimes more form fitting clothing. She wears bindings on her arms and hands for protection while sparring, and around her upper torso for the same purpose, but also to hide the scar on her back that she got from exposure to law corruption. This scar is located on her mid to upper back area, and it takes the shape of a perfectly symmetrical butterfly design, the same design on her necklace. When in the field she wears her travel belt with a small bag on one side and her sword and scabbard on the other.

== Personality ==

Kind, compassionate, and brave, Jaina is a beautiful young woman with a big heart and a wild spirit. She’s quick to get attached, and when she does she’ll never leave your side. Her energetic personality is contagious to those around her, and she loves making others smile. She’s generally an easygoing person, but she can get upset if she’s feeling overwhelmed. She hates getting like this however, and will try her best to calm down. She’s a strong individual, but knows when she needs help and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She enjoys the company of others, but especially her friends.

She’s dedicated to her work in the OWD, constantly working hard both with her squad and by herself to better understand the corruption that killed her parents and left her permanently scarred. But she still knows how to relax, and won’t turn down a night out with friends.

== Biography ==

Jaina was born to Kasi and Marla Ryder in the year 1210, in a humble home just on the outskirts of Eversun. Both of her parents were affiliated with the Guild, her mother Marla was a seamstress working for the Creative Commons Division, and her Father Kasi was a researcher for the Arcane Sciences Division. On Jaina’s 18th birthday, her parents gifted her an engraved necklace with a design of Jaina’s favorite animal: a butterfly. What they didn’t tell her is that this necklace was imbued with aether, and they gave it to her as a way to protect her from any harm.

They lived together peacefully, until one day their land started to become corrupted with Law. The corruption affected her parents drastically, giving them terrible symptoms that only worsened over time. When the OWD finally showed up to contain the corruption and rescue the Ryder family, they were already too late. They found a grieving Jaina crying over the bodies of her parents. They took her to safety within the hearth and immediately had her corruption levels checked, and to the doctors’ shock, she wasn’t nearly as badly affected as her parents were. This could’ve been due to the unreliable nature of the chaotic elements, how no two corruption cases are the same, or it could’ve been due to her aether imbued necklace.

After receiving treatment and settling into her temporary home at the hearth, she decided to sign up to the OWD to research and understand the corruption that killed her parents, and maybe put a stop to it. 2 years later at the age of 20, she had completed the necessary curriculum and was ready for her first mission. She and her squadron led by captain Odin went out to investigate and gather research on a nearby Law bubble, just on the outskirts of Eversun. Not long after entering, Jaina knew where they were. It was barely recognizable, but she knew she was back home.

Large pillars of perfect shape and size broke up the landscape, which was itself changed into a series of right angles and squares. There was a structure, broken and disheveled beyond repair, but as Jaina looked it over she saw the familiar shapes of her childhood home. She became distracted, and in her distraction she didn’t notice she had broken off from the group. As she explored she also didn’t notice she was being stalked by a sovereign. It waited for an opportunity and when it came, it struck. It ambushed Jaina from the shadows and tackled her to the ground, causing a great struggle and ripping a hole through her PPE gear. It overtook her and prepared to blast her with chaotic aether, but at the same moment the rest of the team came to Jaina’s rescue and attacked the creature, causing it to miss its target. The blast hit Jaina directly on her special necklace, and instead of killing her, the energy just shot through her body and left a perfect scar on her back. The exact same image engraved on the pendant was now engraved into her own skin.

The necklace didn’t protect her completely however, and she still suffered from basic law corruption symptoms after the incident. But the scar serves as a permanent reminder to continue her work, as well as a reminder of what happened to her parents.

Jaina is a dedicated member of the OWD, devoting as much time as she can to her work. She’s proven to be a reliable team member and a real bright light among her peers. Still only a rookie, she hopes to make many more meaningful contributions in the future.

== Abilities==

As a member of the OWD she is well versed in several combat styles, including ranged, melee and hand-to-hand, but she really prefers to punch most of the time. She’s agile and quick, and has good stamina, proving her to be a rather helpful member of her team. Born into the aspect of wind, she never underwent aether magic training since her parents deemed it unnecessary. After her exposure to Law corruption, that became all but impossible.

Cora is a blue skinned submatar with design elements based on the Blue-green chromis (Chromis Viridis). She has patches of dark blue scales along her hips and sides, as well as her cheeks and forehead, and covering her breasts. She has a gradual gradient of turquoise/green skin on her legs and feet, and patches of “blush” of the same color on her knees, elbows and face. On her calves and forearms she has light blue fins resembling the dorsal fin of the Blue-green chromis, with her ears resembling the pectoral fins. She has long white hair that falls to her mid back, black eyebrows and pink eyes. She has dark blue freckles on her cheeks and nose, and webbed hands with webs the same color as her fins. She wears a simple pink cottage style dress that’s easily removable for swimming purposes.

== Personality ==

Her whole life, Cora has been a lively and bubbly little fish. During her time in Pao’lakia, she was very curious of the strange items that would fall to the ocean floor, and she would collect these and admire them. She also has a fairly adventurous attitude, and would put herself in danger more often than not when raiding shipwrecks or traversing deep trenches in search of new treasures. Now with her new life on land, she’s even more curious than before. She loves exploring and meeting new people. Overall, she is a rather naive young woman, having very little to no knowledge of the land above. She’s very friendly, and quick to make friends. Once you get to know her however, she will not stop pestering you with questions about what you do or who you are. She’s learning!

== Biography ==

Cora was born in the underwater submatar city of Pao’lakia on Prism 31st, 1206.

The people of Pao’lakia are very reclusive, keeping to themselves and having some rather misguided views on the land people. They see anyone from the land as a threat, and have cut off any and all contact with the land above. They also have strict rules regarding items from the land that fall down to the ocean floor. They view these as highly dangerous and will immediately have them destroyed on sight. They refuse to use the land items, relying only on their own handmade tools and clothing.

Cora, however, never truly followed these teachings. She was a rebel. She would go out and collect land items she found interesting, sneaking them into her secret cave where she’d hoard them and admire them. She was very curious about these items, and longed to one day visit the land to find out more about their origin. She’s a very creative submatar, and would love to decorate her cave and her room in her home with seashells, undersea flowers, seaweed and pretty rocks of all kinds. She lived in a small submatar home just outside Pao’lakia with her grandmother, [[Winnow Chromis|Gramma Winnow]].

Cora lost her parents when she was very young, at the age of 2, to be exact. They were both part of the underwater guild of [[Elix'ren]], and would help in searching nearby wrecks. On one of these searches, they made the mistake of going by themselves, and soon realized that the wreck they found was in the dead center of a corruption zone. They were attacked by Sovereigns, and were never seen again. After the Guild came to Gramma Winnow to deliver the news, she took Cora under her care and raised her as her own.

When she was 23, Cora finally told Gramma Winnow about her wishes to leave the city and explore the land above, which Gramma was immediately very supportive of. She urged Cora to go and live out her dreams, and so she did. She bade Gramma Winnow goodbye and set off in secret, so that the other Pao’lakians didn’t see. She left with nothing, hoping to make herself a new life in this new world. When she got to the surface, she was found by a humble old fisherman and his daughter who gave her clothes and took her in.

Now she lives happily on land with the family who found her. She goes out every day to explore, constantly finding new things and learning about them. She relies on the fisherman to teach her most things, but she often finds herself asking questions to random people, which half the time results in her finding a new friend. Eversun city is her favorite place to visit, due to all of the amazing things she can find there.

A year later, after settling into her new life and learning about the guild, she decided to put her creativity to use and joined the [[Creative Commons Division]] as a party/event planner.

Cora has been a wonderful addition to the CC division ever since she joined, bringing her unique energy and creativity to every event and party she plans. However due to cultural differences, her efforts often result in confusion. But she takes this as an opportunity to learn about the way of life on land and better understand it.

Due to being a submatar, Cora is a very fast and agile swimmer. However since she is not fully accustomed to life on land, her speed and agility are slightly affected, making her just a little clumsy with her footing. == Appearance ==

Cora is a blue skinned submatar with design elements based on the Blue-green chromis (Chromis Viridis). She has patches of dark blue scales along her hips and sides, as well as her cheeks and forehead, and covering her breasts. She has a gradual gradient of turquoise/green skin on her legs and feet, and patches of “blush” of the same color on her knees, elbows and face. On her calves and forearms she has light blue fins resembling the dorsal fin of the Blue-green chromis, with her ears resembling the pectoral fins. She has long white hair that falls to her mid back, black eyebrows and pink eyes. She has dark blue freckles on her cheeks and nose, and webbed hands with webs the same color as her fins. She wears a simple pink cottage style dress that’s easily removable for swimming purposes.

== Personality ==

Her whole life, Cora has been a lively and bubbly little fish. During her time in Pao’lakia, she was very curious of the strange items that would fall to the ocean floor, and she would collect these and admire them. She also has a fairly adventurous attitude, and would put herself in danger more often than not when raiding shipwrecks or traversing deep trenches in search of new treasures. Now with her new life on land, she’s even more curious than before. She loves exploring and meeting new people. Overall, she is a rather naive young woman, having very little to no knowledge of the land above. She’s very friendly, and quick to make friends. Once you get to know her however, she will not stop pestering you with questions about what you do or who you are. She’s learning!

== Biography ==

Cora was born in the underwater submatar city of Pao’lakia on Prism 31st, 1206.

The people of Pao’lakia are very reclusive, keeping to themselves and having some rather misguided views on the land people. They see anyone from the land as a threat, and have cut off any and all contact with the land above. They also have strict rules regarding items from the land that fall down to the ocean floor. They view these as highly dangerous and will immediately have them destroyed on sight. They refuse to use the land items, relying only on their own handmade tools and clothing.

Cora, however, never truly followed these teachings. She was a rebel. She would go out and collect land items she found interesting, sneaking them into her secret cave where she’d hoard them and admire them. She was very curious about these items, and longed to one day visit the land to find out more about their origin. She’s a very creative submatar, and would love to decorate her cave and her room in her home with seashells, undersea flowers, seaweed and pretty rocks of all kinds. She lived in a small submatar home just outside Pao’lakia with her grandmother, [[Winnow Chromis|Gramma Winnow]].

Cora lost her parents when she was very young, at the age of 2, to be exact. They were both part of the underwater guild of [[Elix'ren]], and would help in searching nearby wrecks. On one of these searches, they made the mistake of going by themselves, and soon realized that the wreck they found was in the dead center of a corruption zone. They were attacked by Sovereigns, and were never seen again. After the Guild came to Gramma Winnow to deliver the news, she took Cora under her care and raised her as her own.

When she was 23, Cora finally told Gramma Winnow about her wishes to leave the city and explore the land above, which Gramma was immediately very supportive of. She urged Cora to go and live out her dreams, and so she did. She bade Gramma Winnow goodbye and set off in secret, so that the other Pao’lakians didn’t see. She left with nothing, hoping to make herself a new life in this new world. When she got to the surface, she was found by a humble old fisherman and his daughter who gave her clothes and took her in.

Now she lives happily on land with the family who found her. She goes out every day to explore, constantly finding new things and learning about them. She relies on the fisherman to teach her most things, but she often finds herself asking questions to random people, which half the time results in her finding a new friend. Eversun city is her favorite place to visit, due to all of the amazing things she can find there.

A year later, after settling into her new life and learning about the guild, she decided to put her creativity to use and joined the [[Creative Commons Division]] as a party/event planner.

Cora has been a wonderful addition to the CC division ever since she joined, bringing her unique energy and creativity to every event and party she plans. However due to cultural differences, her efforts often result in confusion. But she takes this as an opportunity to learn about the way of life on land and better understand it.

Due to being a submatar, Cora is a very fast and agile swimmer. However since she is not fully accustomed to life on land, her speed and agility are slightly affected, making her just a little clumsy with her footing. She has a keen eye for creativity, and often has unique insight and advice to offer to others given her upbringing.

As is the case with anyone Kel is close with, she’d return with several shiny sea shells and stones and artifacts for Ella’s growing collection.

== Appearance ==

Keldwyn is a half Elvaari, half bovine Kindred with long flaming red hair, freckles and green eyes. Her skin is tanned from prolonged exposure to the bright ocean sun, and her hair is wind-tossed and rather messy. Physically, she appears to be in her mid to late 20’s. Atop her head are two bull-like horns that point forward and curl upward slightly. She usually wears a long billowy white blouse with frills, with a brown leather corset overtop, which causes the hem of the shirt to create somewhat of an open front skirt. She also wears reddish brown pants with lace-up sides and knee-high brown leather boots with multiple straps and buckles. Strapped around her right thigh is a leather holster for her flintlock pistol, which she carries on her person everywhere she goes (unless she’s in an area that prohibits weapons).

== Personality ==

Having grown up around pirates, some of their personality traits rubbed off onto Kel. She became loud, rude and arrogant as a result. However since she left behind her old ways and signed up for the Adventurers Guild, she’s been trying to reform herself. She’s still as boisterous as ever, but her arrogance and overall rude demeanor have begun to show themselves less and less. She also picked up a rather flirtatious attitude, and will use it to get what she wants, whether it be money or simply to rise a reaction. She’s a fiery spirit who’s always eager for adventure, and a loyal companion to those she holds dear.

== Biography ==

Keldwyn was born in the year 1007, in the month of Harvestine during the phase of the Siren, to her parents: an Elvaari mother and bovine Kindred father. They were an innocent family who lived in one of [[Castrella]]’s more impoverished port towns, until it was attacked by a brutal pirate raid when she was still a baby. Both of Kel’s parents were killed, leaving her to be kidnapped by the pirates and taken to their homeland of Murmillion.

She went on to be raised by the pirates, tagging along on their many raids and pillages, seeing things that no child should be seeing. By this point, she had fully taken on the life of a pirate. She led this life for over a hundred years until one fateful raid she happened to be on.

One day, her pirate crew had kidnapped an adventurer from the [[Wayfarers' Division|Wayfarers’ Division]]. While she was kept below deck in the brig, Kel snuck down to take a better look at her. Having never seen someone like this before, she was curious. She struck up a conversation with the adventurer, who told Kel all about the guild, [[Eversun City|Eversun]], The Hearth, and so much more. Kel was enamored, and that night while the crew was asleep, she helped the adventurer use a dinghy to escape.

Ever since that encounter, Keldwyn had dreams about joining the guild. It wasn’t until she was 113 that she finally decided to leave Murmillion, and thusly her pirate life, behind. She went to [[Eversun City]] and lived in the streets until she was 199. It was then that she’d finally join the guild and signed up to the [[Trade Division]], thinking her skills would be most useful there.

Now 223, Kel is fully devoted to her job. Sometimes she still finds herself swiping gold or other valuable trinkets from shipments as a bad habit, but she’s working on it. Overall, she’s happier with her new life, new job and new friends, and looks forward to every day as if it were a new adventure.

== Contributions ==

Keldwyn has proven to be a (somewhat) reliable captain for the [[Trade Division]]. She’s always perfectly on time with her shipments, but there’s always at least one item mysteriously missing. Other than that, she excels at every aspect of her job. She calls herself the best captain in [[Castrella]], and while it is a self appointed title, it does have some merit.

== Abilities==

Although being aspected to water, Keldwyn has no aether magic training whatsoever. Instead she relies entirely on her wits and the skills she learned as a pirate. She is extremely agile, oftentimes swinging from the rigging to reach the highest masts, or walking along the bowsprit without the fear of falling off. She’s also very skilled with a flintlock and cutlass, and sharp as a nail.

== Appearance ==

Keldwyn is a half Elvaari, half bovine Kindred with long flaming red hair, freckles and green eyes. Her skin is tanned from prolonged exposure to the bright ocean sun, and her hair is wind-tossed and rather messy. Physically, she appears to be in her mid to late 20’s. Atop her head are two bull-like horns that point forward and curl upward slightly. She usually wears a long billowy white blouse with frills, with a brown leather corset overtop, which causes the hem of the shirt to create somewhat of an open front skirt. She also wears reddish brown pants with lace-up sides and knee-high brown leather boots with multiple straps and buckles. Strapped around her right thigh is a leather holster for her flintlock pistol, which she carries on her person everywhere she goes (unless she’s in an area that prohibits weapons).

Having grown up around pirates, some of their personality traits rubbed off onto Kel. She became loud, rude and arrogant as a result. However since she left behind her old ways and signed up for the Adventurers Guild, she’s been trying to reform herself. She’s still as boisterous as ever, but her arrogance and overall rude demeanor have begun to show themselves less and less. She also picked up a rather flirtatious attitude, and will use it to get what she wants, whether it be money or simply to rise a reaction. She’s a fiery spirit who’s always eager for adventure, and a loyal companion to those she holds dear.

== Biography ==

Keldwyn was born in the year 1007, in the month of Harvestine during the phase of the Siren, to her parents: an Elvaari mother and bovine Kindred father. They were an innocent family who lived in one of [[Castrella]]’s more impoverished port towns, until it was attacked by a brutal pirate raid when she was still a baby. Both of Kel’s parents were killed, leaving her to be kidnapped by the pirates and taken to their homeland of Murmillion.

She went on to be raised by the pirates, tagging along on their many raids and pillages, seeing things that no child should be seeing. By this point, she had fully taken on the life of a pirate. She led this life for over a hundred years until one fateful raid she happened to be on.

One day, her pirate crew had kidnapped an adventurer from the [[Wayfarers' Division|Wayfarers’ Division]]. While she was kept below deck in the brig, Kel snuck down to take a better look at her. Having never seen someone like this before, she was curious. She struck up a conversation with the adventurer, who told Kel all about the guild, [[Eversun City|Eversun]], The Hearth, and so much more. Kel was enamored, and that night while the crew was asleep, she helped the adventurer use a dinghy to escape.

Ever since that encounter, Keldwyn had dreams about joining the guild. It wasn’t until she was 113 that she finally decided to leave Murmillion, and thusly her pirate life, behind. She went to [[Eversun City]] and lived in the streets until she was 199. It was then that she’d finally join the guild and signed up to the [[Trade Division]], thinking her skills would be most useful there.

Now 223, Kel is fully devoted to her job. Sometimes she still finds herself swiping gold or other valuable trinkets from shipments as a bad habit, but she’s working on it. Overall, she’s happier with her new life, new job and new friends, and looks forward to every day as if it were a new adventure.

Keldwyn has proven to be a (somewhat) reliable captain for the [[Trade Division]]. She’s always perfectly on time with her shipments, but there’s always at least one item mysteriously missing. Other than that, she excels at every aspect of her job. She calls herself the best captain in [[Castrella]], and while it is a self appointed title, it does have some merit.

Although being aspected to water, Keldwyn has no aether magic training whatsoever. Instead she relies entirely on her wits and the skills she learned as a pirate. == Biography ==
Kasi was born and raised in the Valhalla Project district prior to the fire of 1209, and joined the guild at the age of 20 in 1198, going into the Arcane Sciences Division as a researcher in Sword & Scabbard. While in the guild, he crossed paths with Marla, and the two fell in love and later married in 1202. They both shared a want to have a child, and so to prepare, Marla transferred from Creative Commons to the ASD and worked alongside Kasi in order to find the best possible method to reduce and possibly reverse the effects of corruption, should their own child ever become corrupted. Kasi studied Law, while Marla studied Whimsy, hoping that their combined efforts would bring the results they wanted.

They moved to a village on the outskirts of Eversun in 1209 in order to raise the child they were planning to have, while continuing their work as best they could. Later in 1210, their daughter was born. For 18 years they lived peacefully and continued their research until on Nova 17th, 1228, they gifted Jaina the culmination of their life’s work: a single necklace imbued with aether that they theorized would prevent corruption entirely. 5 days later, their home was overtaken by a wave of Law corruption, which affected both Kasi and Marla drastically. Another 5 days, and their corruption symptoms got so terribly bad that they passed away. Jaina would have died, if not for her necklace. She was corrupted, but the effects were so reduced that it felt and looked as if nothing happened. Soon after, an OWD squadron intercepted the corruption, evacuating Jaina and setting up a containment bubble.

Hardened, blunt and honest, but with a soft interior. He would do anything to protect and take care of those he loves, even if it meant dedicating his life to research.

== Biography ==
Kasi was born and raised in the Valhalla Project district prior to the fire of 1209, and joined the guild at the age of 20 in 1198, going into the Arcane Sciences Division as a researcher in Sword & Scabbard. While in the guild, he crossed paths with Marla, and the two fell in love and later married in 1202. They both shared a want to have a child, and so to prepare, Marla transferred from Creative Commons to the ASD and worked alongside Kasi in order to find the best possible method to reduce and possibly reverse the effects of corruption, should their own child ever become corrupted. Kasi studied Law, while Marla studied Whimsy, hoping that their combined efforts would bring the results they wanted.

They moved to a village on the outskirts of Eversun in 1209 in order to raise the child they were planning to have, while continuing their work as best they could. Later in 1210, their daughter was born. For 18 years they lived peacefully and continued their research until on Nova 17th, 1228, they gifted Jaina the culmination of their life’s work: a single necklace imbued with aether that they theorized would prevent corruption entirely. 5 days later, their home was overtaken by a wave of Law corruption, which affected both Kasi and Marla drastically. Another 5 days, and their corruption symptoms got so terribly bad that they passed away. Jaina would have died, if not for her necklace. She was corrupted, but the effects were so reduced that it felt and looked as if nothing happened. Soon after, an OWD squadron intercepted the corruption, evacuating Jaina and setting up a containment bubble.

== Appearance ==

Cora is a blue skinned submatar with design elements based on the Blue-green chromis (Chromis Viridis). She has patches of dark blue scales along her hips and sides, as well as her cheeks and forehead, and covering her breasts. She has a gradual gradient of turquoise/green skin on her legs and feet, and patches of “blush” of the same color on her knees, elbows and face. On her calves and forearms she has light blue fins resembling the dorsal fin of the Blue-green chromis, with her ears resembling the pectoral fins. She has long white hair that falls to her mid back, black eyebrows and pink eyes. She has dark blue freckles on her cheeks and nose, and webbed hands with webs the same color as her fins. She wears a simple pink cottage style dress that’s easily removable for swimming purposes.

== Personality ==

Her whole life, Cora has been a lively and bubbly little fish. During her time in Pao’lakia, she was very curious of the strange items that would fall to the ocean floor, and she would collect these and admire them. She also has a fairly adventurous attitude, and would put herself in danger more often than not when raiding shipwrecks or traversing deep trenches in search of new treasures. Now with her new life on land, she’s even more curious than before. She loves exploring and meeting new people. Overall, she is a rather naive young woman, having very little to no knowledge of the land above. She’s very friendly, and quick to make friends. Once you get to know her however, she will not stop pestering you with questions about what you do or who you are. She’s learning!

== Biography ==

Cora was born in the underwater submatar city of Pao’lakia on Prism 31st, 1206.

The people of Pao’lakia are very reclusive, keeping to themselves and having some rather misguided views on the land people. They see anyone from the land as a threat, and have cut off any and all contact with the land above. They also have strict rules regarding items from the land that fall down to the ocean floor. They view these as highly dangerous and will immediately have them destroyed on sight. They refuse to use the land items, relying only on their own handmade tools and clothing.

Cora, however, never truly followed these teachings. She was a rebel. She would go out and collect land items she found interesting, sneaking them into her secret cave where she’d hoard them and admire them. She was very curious about these items, and longed to one day visit the land to find out more about their origin. She’s a very creative submatar, and would love to decorate her cave and her room in her home with seashells, undersea flowers, seaweed and pretty rocks of all kinds. She lived in a small submatar home just outside Pao’lakia with her grandmother, [[Winnow Chromis|Gramma Winnow]].

Cora lost her parents when she was very young, at the age of 2, to be exact. They were both part of the underwater guild of [[Elix'ren]], and would help in searching nearby wrecks. On one of these searches, they made the mistake of going by themselves, and soon realized that the wreck they found was in the dead center of a corruption zone. They were attacked by Sovereigns, and were never seen again. After the Guild came to Gramma Winnow to deliver the news, she took Cora under her care and raised her as her own.

When she was 23, Cora finally told Gramma Winnow about her wishes to leave the city and explore the land above, which Gramma was immediately very supportive of. She urged Cora to go and live out her dreams, and so she did. She bade Gramma Winnow goodbye and set off in secret, so that the other Pao’lakians didn’t see. She left with nothing, hoping to make herself a new life in this new world. When she got to the surface, she was found by a humble old fisherman and his daughter who gave her clothes and took her in.

Now she lives happily on land with the family who found her. She goes out every day to explore, constantly finding new things and learning about them. She relies on the fisherman to teach her most things, but she often finds herself asking questions to random people, which half the time results in her finding a new friend. Eversun city is her favorite place to visit, due to all of the amazing things she can find there.

A year later, after settling into her new life and learning about the guild, she decided to put her creativity to use and joined the [[Creative Commons Division]] as a party/event planner.

Cora has been a wonderful addition to the CC division ever since she joined, bringing her unique energy and creativity to every event and party she plans. However due to cultural differences, her efforts often result in confusion. But she takes this as an opportunity to learn about the way of life on land and better understand it.

== Abilities==

Due to being a submatar, Cora is a very fast and agile swimmer. However since she is not fully accustomed to life on land, her speed and agility are slightly affected, making her just a little clumsy with her footing. She has a keen eye for creativity, and often has unique insight and advice to offer to others given her upbringing.

One day while out collecting things on the outskirts of Pao’lakia, Cora saw a figure diving in the distance. Swimming down to the bottom and back up over and over again. Curious as ever, Cora moved in to investigate. She came face to face with Nova, and was immediately interested in her. She followed as Nova swam back up to resurface, but when the kindred climbed out of the water and onto the land, Cora stayed behind. She explained how she’s not allowed to interact with the land dwellers, but this didn’t stop her. The two found ways to see each other regularly, Nova swimming down to play with Cora, and Cora surfacing near the waterfront to speak with Nova. Eventually, Cora’s visitations were brought to a stop when her grandmother found out, and as a way to keep the young submatar safe, she forbade her from seeing Nova again. Once Cora was old enough to leave on her own, her and Nova would cross paths again, reuniting the childhood friends once more.

After arriving on land and wandering into Eversun for the first time, Cora became particularly interested in a certain ant sectum making his rounds in the city. She tailed him for quite some time, keeping her distance and watching from afar, studying this individual who didn’t look like anything she’d seen before. Little did she know he’d been doing the exact same: watching Cora and taking notes whenever she wasn’t looking. Eventually, their paths inevitably crossed, the two literally bumping into each other. Laughs were had, and they introduced themselves. Since then, Cora has seen Senti as her brother. She drags him to events and outings despite his objections, and often can be seen hanging out together under any given tree. Cora loves Senti with her whole heart and sees him as a protector of sorts, resulting in the two being a nearly inseparable pair.
